Trump did what clearly appears to be a money laundering job for at least one Russian oligarch. He also received loans backed by various Russian entity’s when no one in the US would loan him a plug nickel. His tax returns would give a much more clear picture of both deals and both are obviously of interest in any investigation of Russian e******n meddling and ties to the Trump crime syndicate.

The obama /Lerner weaponized IRS would have pounced on Trump years ago if they had anything at all on him.
Mueller is there to remove Trump from office any way he can. But so far, Mueller has nothing. Mueller and his assassins in suits couldn't afford to have Trump in office for 2 weeks let alone 2 years. If they had anything, they would have used it yesterday.
