California is full of people that we do not understand, not because Spanish is their primary language, but because of their reactions and beliefs.

Having said that, please take a moment and pray for them. The state is on fire and the fire departments are not making significant headway. People are missing....many may be dead.

You’re a very good person. I’m praying for them, too. I do resent HLN etc, blaming Trumps ignorance of the G****l W*****g for the fire. I believe it was started by campers.
AGAIN.

I find that the media twist everything into a "blame if on Trump" just as they did with blame it on Bush when obama was messing up by the numbers. Each year California has at least two mighty fires.... I think it is because the ground water has to be siphoned off for the overpopulation of Southern California. I think that they could do more controlled burns to lesson the size of these fires. And to the media.... a campfire is to blame, not the greenhouse or c*****e c****e.

Thank you for praying.... my heart aches for these people.

Dry vegetation is due to the siphoning off of the ground water. Southern California is a desert.... So when, as the state, Southern California became more populated and then overpopulated, the demand for water has expediently grown each year. Too much demand on a finite resource always equal disaster.

That aside, I still ask for prayers for those in harm's way and for the many people who are missing.

Why don't we start saying prayers of thanks for Trump's latest action (despite all the criticism he's getting that the fire is his fault)

His most recent tweet (because we won't hear this from the main stream media at all) tells us all what he's starting to do:

Donald J. Trump
‏Verified account @realDonaldTrump

"I just approved an expedited request for a Major Disaster Declaration for the State of California. Wanted to respond quickly in order to alleviate some of the incredible suffering going on. I am with you all the way. God Bless all of the victims and families affected."

Thank you EmilyD., Your post is welcome news and timely.

Our President is always in my prayers, I pray for his continued successes. I pray that he continues on the path we put in front of him. And I pray that the media will stop their consistent harassment of him and turn to recognize our nation has improved after he was sworn in.

Thank you, too, Pennylynn. I do to. He put himself up there to try his best to help our country, and all of us, to get back into what the founding fathers meant it to be. The hatred that is being thrown at him is strong, but I think he is much stronger than it.

I include our President in my prayers every day - some days multiple times when I hear he's having more than the usual mud slung at him

It is tragic, the death and destruction. And yes, may God help them get to safety, and comfort those who have already lost loved ones.

Thank you for your kindness. I just read that the count may have doubled... thousands are missing. So, very sad. They will require the nation to step forward to help in their time of need.

I too am praying. It is like sprinkling gun powder on everything.
That is why I want to see the results of their tests for radiation!
We know it's there. And we know radioactive dust has this effect!
We also know that clouds from Fukushima have been crossing that area for the past 7 years covering foliage and houses with radioactive powder.
Hundreds of thousands of tons of this flammable radioactive dust continues daily.

I did not know that radioactive dust is flammable. Thank you for the heads up, I will need to do research on this. Thank you again!!! I learn something new every day.
