I have to question your words about the American people deciding who will get elected. In Florida it seems to me that the Democratic people are trying to determine that. Did you not know that a box of b****ts, supposedly from one of the 2 counties who couldn't count according to Florida law, were found in the trunk of a rental car in Fort Lauderdale last Thursday? I have to wonder who and how those b****ts were marked. I have to wonder what those people were doing in the b****ting place marking b****ts illegally and mixing them with legal b****ts.

Hey, you talk about making sure that every v**e gets counted and it seems you really think that every v**e from i*****l a***n hands must also be counted. You are pushing too hard for that kind of thing to happen.

I think we're worried about overseas military v**ers, absentee, and provisional...most of provisional is there because of stupid efforts to suppress those v**es....

...like signature matching, what kind of moronic crap is that, and how many states feel the need to jump through that hurdle? Not to mention how many qualified people do they have to look at a signature, do they understand that two completely different looking signatures might have a tell because they were from the same person?

The dems want to control this country like a dictatorship where all the dems can stay in power, take away our rights that we have under the constitution and have cheap labor thru immigration. Americans in this country need to wake up and realize what is really going on. I'm in 60's and have never seen people in this country letting the government walk all over us
God bless America and the Republic

You got it bassakwards its the right that wants those things. Conservatism is one of the saddest conditions in the world. Conservatism sets its believers apart and against all "others." This means all of nature, and all people who are different, are to be feared, denigrated, conquered and exploited, rather than loved and protected. Meanwhile, conservatives are mired in perpetual defense of myths that are centuries, if not millennia, out of date and dangerously discordant with the revealed t***hs of the modern world. And so they are forever embattled, enjoined in a "culture war" they can never win, and that in fact they have been losing, little by little, or sometimes by sudden landslide, for hundreds of years. Conservatives know in their hearts they have lost control of a world that has passed them by. They are well aware of this slip-sliding away of their "traditional" culture, and so they recoil, react, hunker down, and double-down on their mythology, desperately searching for scriptural phrases and nationalistic demagoguery that justify their anger and fear, while totally ignoring the more fundamental precepts of both Christianity and Americanism that would lead them out of the wilderness of selfishness. Meanwhile, most of the progress that they have fought so hard to prevent actually benefits them and their children and grand-children.

You forgot to mention that Steele was first hired by Republicans. All Elias did was buy the research after the Reps found it made no difference to Trump supporters.

You say those 83, 000 v**es magically appeared. What more than likely happened is they did not disappear.

I was talking about Marc Elias, not Christopher Steele. But now that you brought him up. The GOP did not hire Steele.

In September 2015, the Washington Free Beacon, a conservative publication, retained the services of Fusion GPS, a private Washington D.C. political research firm, to conduct research on several primary Republican Party candidates including candidate Trump. The research was unrelated to Russia and was ended once T***p w*n the p**********l nomination.

Fusion GPS was subsequently hired by the Hillary Clinton Campaign and the Democratic National Committee through their shared attorney at Perkins Coie, Marc Elias. Fusion GPS then hired Steele to investigate Trump's Russia-related activities. Hillary Clinton's campaign and the Democratic National Committee took over the financing of the inquiry into Donald Trump and produced what became known as the Trump dossier.

IOW, Steele was not involved in any of the opposition research conducted by Fusion GPS while the firm was working for the Washington Free Beacon.

Good that means you don't like it. I wouldn't expect you too. Its hard for Conservatives to face the t***h of the matter. They like to believe they have all the answers and are the good guys and those who oppose their ideology are the evil stupid bad guys. They like to believe that conservatism carefully ponders each issue, turning it this way and that to examine its characteristics and qualities, or lack thereof, before making a reasoned judgment and staking a position. Balderdash! The dictionary definition of conservative is one who "conserves" traditional beliefs, customs and institutions. In attempting to understand conservatism we would do well to hew closely to this spot-on and time-honored definition. Perhaps the longest-running institution and tradition in human history is the Dominator Hierarchy (DH). Behind every conservative position, on every issue, lurks its support for the maintenance of one or more of the columns of the Dominator Hierarchy. The Dominator Hierarchy is a socioeconomic status ranking system.

The rewards of higher ranking are substantial: greater socioeconomic privilege, better opportunity and choices, higher self-esteem, advantages which can be parlayed into climbing higher on the scale. Yet the system becomes ever more sticky as it descends, more oppressive, exploitative, unjust, undemocratic, un-American, and contrary to some of the basic principles of every religious system and universal virtue. The DH seemingly endures forever (so far) because it very effectively manipulates the primal emotions of fear, greed and prejudice... and because so many people find it extremely helpful to their own sense of self-worth and that of their clan or "in-group."
