The real reason President Trump cancelled his visit to US cemetery in France.....
BooSheet
Ever see those military helicopters flying in storms rescuing people? And he could have ridden over with the rest of the dignitaries, and why was Trump able to send others but not himself?
And yes the idea it was about his hair is silly, my guess is he met with Putin though.
Yet somehow, other leaders managed to make it via ground t***sportation. I would have thought his unwillingness to discomfit himself in order to pay tribute to the unfathomable sacrifice of WW1 veterans would be the straw that broke the back of his base (to wrangle a well-used metaphor.) But all I seem to see are excuses for his increasing awfulness.
If I had had a shred of support for him in me (which, as everyone knows, I do not), it would have evaporated with this shameful event, along with his attempt to turn the tragedy of California fires to his political gain. The man is an indecent excuse for a human being, and I think everyone knows it.
All those other world leaders managed to get there but we did not have a contingency plan for rain during their rainy season? Wow. How did they overcome such a huge "logistical difficulty" as a light rain for John Kelly and his delegation? All the president's men and his many aides and his many advisers and the Secret Service had no alternative plan for a drizzle? How gullible can you get? People around the president try to plan in advance for all contingencies. You really believe the rain surprised and totally flummoxed them?
"I am melting."
Liberals are much amusing here today. They seem to getting off on Our President. The best President since George Washington.

You guess Trump met with Putin, huh? Go figure.
What kind of mental or emotional dysfunction would compel someone to compare Marine One with a rescue helicopter? Yeah, I've seen US Navy helicopters take off into all kinds of s**tty weather to rescue people. Rescue choppers are all-weather flying machines, they are equipped to fly in all kinds of inclement weather, and the flight crews and rescue personnel aboard them are trained specifically for saving lives. Marine One, OTH, is an executive t***sport chopper, it is equipped to safely t***sport the POTUS and other VIPs from point A to point B. The Marine One flight crews are not trained for life saving operations, except possibly under the most extreme circumstances, such as being the only option for t***sporting the POTUS and/or other VIPs to a safe location. It should be obvious that a diplomatic mission in which the POTUS may be at risk isn't the same as a rescue mission to save the lives of people in distress.

In solemn Paris ceremony, Macron leads global WW1 Armistice commemorationsPARIS, Nov 11 (Reuters) - President Emmanuel Macron led tributes to the millions of soldiers k**led in World War One on Sunday, using an emotional ceremony in Paris attended by scores of world leaders to warn against nationalism a century on from the conflict.
U.S. President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and dozens of monarchs, princes, presidents and prime ministers joined Macron to mark the moment the guns fell silent across Europe 100 years earlier.
Under grey skies and gently falling rain, many heads of state joined Macron in walking the last stretch of the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe, where the ceremony was held. Trump and Putin arrived slightly later in separate motorcades.Trump marks 100 years since end of World War I with tribute to fallen soldiersPARIS — President Trump paid tribute Sunday to U.S. and allied soldiers k**led in World War I as he and dozens of other world leaders commemorated the 100th anniversary of the end of "a horrible, horrible war" that marked America's emergence as a world power.
"We are gathered together at this hallowed resting place to pay tribute to the brave Americans who gave their last breath in that mighty struggle," Mr. Trump said at the Suresnes American Cemetery and Memorial in the suburbs of Paris, where more than 1,500 Americans who died in the war are buried.
"It is our duty to preserve the civilization they defended and to protect the peace they so nobly gave their lives to secure one century ago," he said.During my tour of France, I visited the American cemeteries at Belleau Wood and Suresnes and Hamm

I'm doubting Trump's ride would have been rescuing any one. LOL!
And it is not worth any words about It! How about every citizen try to focus on critical issues instead of who is president, or what his hair looks like. I do not care about those things. I care about REAL things like our national debt, our giving our country over to foreigners, our having a Congress that acts in the best interests of themselves, the corporations/businesses that keep them in power and wealth, and foreigners, but never in the best interests of our country or our ordinary citizens who pay the bills.
