Of course there will be many here that think me and all these people are just picking on the president for some minor infraction and just out of h**e. Read some of the responses and decide. Yet also remember that he canceled that "celebration" that should have a commemoration because of rain.

Twitter users chided President Donald Trump over his choice of words in a tweet about how he was marking the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I in Paris on Saturday.
Trump, who is in the French capital for the centenary commemorations, tweeted:
Donald J. Trump
✔ @realDonaldTrump
I am in Paris getting ready to celebrate the end of World War One. Is there anything better to celebrate than the end of a war, in particular that one, which was one of the bloodiest and worst of all time?

Here are some of the proper responses to the president's total lack of sensitivity and awareness.
“Your ignorance is breathtaking. It’s not a celebration, you stupid buffoon, it’s a commemoration to mark the end of a slaughter and to remember the lives that were lost in a conflict which had the aim of Imperial domination by an autocrat such as yourself.”

“This is a solemn act of Remembrance for those that gave their lives in this war. As the epitaph said 'When you go home tell them of us and say for your tomorrow we gave our today'. This is not a celebration. pic.twitter.com/HIqumVApA4

“Sir, what you are doing is to commemorate. The celebration ended way back in 1918... “

“ARMISTICE is NOT a celebration, it's a time of remembrance and appreciation of the sacrifice made by others - A concept totally alien to yourself. Your inclusion is an invitation to the OFFICE you hold, not to you personally. Ergo, you are being seen as the Turd in the cookie jar.”

Someone decided to help Trump with a little rewrite:
“I am in Paris, getting ready to commemorate the end of World War One.
Is there anything better than to honor the victims and to work together with our longtime allies to secure a peaceful future for our children?"

“There, fixed it for you ... “

Short and sweet and wise:
“Commemorate not celebrate...not many celebrate War.”

“You meant ‘commemorate’, right? No-one ‘celebrates’ war.”

Never heard that one before, but it is certainly apropos. After watching the turd-in-a-suit from Kenya stumble through eight years in the Whitehouse, POTUS Trump looks like a genius, in spite of his occasional faux pas.

I did. The topic appears to be your incessant ignorant and silly ranting of BS lies about POTUS Trump.

The irrelevant distractions are your silly rants that have no basis, other than your extreme ignorance, unfounded l*****t biases and your total inability to post anything t***hful or intelligent.

I forgot about corpse man. I remember the 57 states. Then again I bet Young Barry was tired that day. You try visiting 57 states and see if you don't feel like a corpse, man.

Yawn. Get more creative instead of purposely blind. Try this extraordinary idea: if I lied, prove it. Ah, but then I will get what all you guys who cannot refute what I say or reasonably argue against it, the cowardly escape that you don't want to waste your time in demonstrating for your party how wrong I might be. Huh? But that is the standard line, and the thinking is really bizarre.

In solemn Paris ceremony, Macron leads global WW1 Armistice commemorations

PARIS, Nov 11 (Reuters) - President Emmanuel Macron led tributes to the millions of soldiers k**led in World War One on Sunday, using an emotional ceremony in Paris attended by scores of world leaders to warn against nationalism a century on from the conflict.

U.S. President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and dozens of monarchs, princes, presidents and prime ministers joined Macron to mark the moment the guns fell silent across Europe 100 years earlier.

Under grey skies and gently falling rain, many heads of state joined Macron in walking the last stretch of the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe, where the ceremony was held. Trump and Putin arrived slightly later in separate motorcades.

Trump marks 100 years since end of World War I with tribute to fallen soldiers

PARIS - President Trump paid tribute Sunday to U.S. and allied soldiers k**led in World War I as he and dozens of other world leaders commemorated the 100th anniversary of the end of "a horrible, horrible war" that marked America's emergence as a world power.

"We are gathered together at this hallowed resting place to pay tribute to the brave Americans who gave their last breath in that mighty struggle," Mr. Trump said at the Suresnes American Cemetery and Memorial in the suburbs of Paris, where more than 1,500 Americans who died in the war are buried.

"It is our duty to preserve the civilization they defended and to protect the peace they so nobly gave their lives to secure one century ago," he said.
