I'm not looking for an argument but I wish you would finally realize that the South was originally Democratic. (Look it up on line.) When they found that the Dems, who were joining with the "Northern Oppressors," were not following the dictates of the Southern people - especially regarding s***ery, they switched over to being red states. Lincoln was in the original Rep. party, before the s***ery incident. MLK was definitely a conservative who believed in the ideals of Ghandi. All great and powerful men.
