Don't get me wrong, its a sad situation. But, to consider the REAL problem here, its not the gun, its the person behind the gun. The assault rifle didn't do the shooting on its own..

Do you think for one minute if that shooter knew he was walking into a bar full of well armed well trained people he would have done what he did...?? If he knew he was going to have 1000 bullets in him 3 seconds after entering the bar, he would have even THOUGHT of doing that.???

No, sorry folks, the answer to all this shooting spree stuff is to have EVERYBODY armed and DANGEROUS...!! Look at the numbers here. Atlanta, Calif, Florida, Virginia, Chicago,.... We have what..?? About 10 or 12 shooters, and 240 Million people. ??? Point is, its a small number. Doesn't make it any more nice I know.. I would like to know who k**led the shooter. If it was an armed citizen it would go a long way to deterring more of these copy-cat murder-suicides. If the gunman was k**led by an unknown then all sorts of questions occur, such as how was the Officer who entered met with a "hail of bullets" from a single handgun? Were there two shooters? Obviously there were at least two, one of whom k**led the black clad shooter but was he a good guy or part of the bad guy's team?
