Just kidding moldy. I AM Jethro and Bubba. Being from the TAG area, Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia, I have the best of ALL the hillbilliy slang. We MAY have just naturally got around to it without being chided.
The ones that REALLY get me are the Indian store owners. They can hardly speak English but they can say what you owe perfectly. I also love customer service when you ask yourself,"What the heck did she just say???"
These are all funny observations, moldy, and there is nothing racial in them...they're funny because they are different from the way we say things. In Louisiana, they might say, 'Hey, it's good for ya to see me.' They also say,'three or two times.'
There was no harm or slight intended so why not join in and have a snicker?
Wel'uh.... I declar'ah....moldy's a troll an' kant... (show quote)

Good for YOU !!! You know the country people of Louisiana speak like I said, but Nu' Aleans people sound like they are from the Bronx. And their favorite word is mother f#$ker. They are short tempered and NOT friendly to anyone but long time residents. I guess so many people come and go that they just don't want to fool with them. I lived there for 4 years and learned to speak like them so they wouldn't know 'I uz' a Tinna-see boy.
