The law that the clueless governor deal signed hasn't even "officially" gone into effect, and already the crazy, goofy, gunnuts are out. brandishing their guns for all to see. And bragging that no one can do anything about it.

So now, gunnuts, if parents at the park, or youth sporting events feel threatened by the crazy gunnuts, and pull their own guns out, can you see the potential for carnage?

Oh yeah, baby, the good ol'boy southern mentality is on display once again.

And for all of you goofy rightwingnuts who are always whining about the bad black guy or hispanic guy, or meth-head white guy breaking into your home and stealing your stuff, read the article and think about your children or grandchildren being threatened and frightened.

So, when the cops arrived, they did not arrest this man how come? Well, let's see, they couldn't seem to pin anyone down as to the guy actually making any threats, or threatening gestures. While open carry is legal, most people carry concealed out of courtesy and common sense. Speaking of sense, perhaps the parents should display a little, also. Open carry is, or is becoming more common, in states such as AK, AZ, NH, VT and WY. Not exactly hotbeds of "good ol' Southern Boys," wh**ever that is.

KENNESAW, Ga - Several Kennesaw officials attribute a drop in crime in the city over the past two decades to a law that requires residents to have a gun in the house. In 1982, the Kennesaw City Council unanimously passed a law requiring heads of households to own at least one firearm with ammunition. The ordinance states the gun law is needed to "protect the safety, security and general welfare of the city and its inhabitants." Then-councilman J.O. Stephenson said after the ordinance was passed, everyone "went crazy." "People all over the country said there would be shootings in the street and violence in homes," he said. "Of course, that wasn't the case." In fact, according to Stephenson, it caused the crime rate in the city to plunge. Kennesaw Historical Society president Robert Jones said following the law's passage, the crime rate dropped 89 percent in the city, compared to the modest 10 percent drop statewide. "It did drop after it was passed," he said. "After it initially dropped, it has stayed at the same low level for the past 16 years." Mayor Leonard Church was not in office when the law was passed, but he said he is a staunch supporter of it. "You can't argue with the fact that Kennesaw has the lowest crime rate of any city our size in the country," said Church, who owns a denture-making company in Kennesaw. The author of the ordinance, local attorney Fred Bentley Sr., attributes at least some of the decrease in crime to the bill. "I am definitely in favor of what we did," he said. "It may not be totally responsible for the decrease, [but] it is a part." Although he is pleased with the outcome, Bentley said he was originally opposed to drafting the law. "I didn't think it could be written in a constitutional fashion," he said. "Obviously, it was constitutional, because the American Civil Liberties Union challenged it in court and we won."

Oh good, another c*******tic post by BlowJobber, how wonderful, oh and UNUSUAL. Mustn't forget to mention unusual, I mean, he almost never rants and rails against conservative values while pushing the destruction of the country he lives in. Well, no more than two or three times a day, and hey, that's not much, right?

I do wonder if these freaks expect to be made commissars as a reward for their treachery. Back in the late 60's when all the young socialists were buying up copies of Chairman Mao's Little Red Book, I cornered one of them and asked him if he expected to be made a commissar by helping to make America C*******t, and sure as hell, he did. He was gloating about it, too.

So I expect BlowJobber here, and Gluesniffer and the others have the same hopes. Wouldn't it be a kick in the head for them if they ended up in front of a firing squad instead?

According to FBI statistics, in your liberal, gun hating paradise of Mexifornia, your chances of being shot are 7/10 of a person per 100,000 less than that awful, gun loving State of Georgia.

Good Morning Bo,

People with new toys. Do you remember your first car and how cool it was to show it off to all your friends? I remember, mine was a 1967 VW, and boy was I proud because I bought it new with my own money I had earned. I parked it so that everyone would walk by it on their way to class, I parked it in front of every store that I visited, and at night I parked it and wrapped it in a car cover. That is what this reminds me of, a man/boy that wants to show off. Thankfully, this was just one guy that showed off his weapon (you know what they say about big guns and compensating). These people are not the ones to fear; the people that we need to fear are those that are shall we say more clandestine with their weapons. And boy were these parents dumb! They herded their kids into a confined space with no escape routes and stood as targets in front of them....how dumb is that? If this person had intended to do harm, he could have taken his time and shot each one while taking time to reload because the kids would be panicked into a paralyzed state, the parents would go down one at a time....stupid, stupid, stupid. If they were truly afraid, then they would have called the game and taken their kids home or to a safe environment. But, apparently they were not that afraid.

Again you have given me food for thought. Thank you for the post.

But lets not mention that safe gun free (legal guns that is) haven that is gangland, er, I mean Chicagoland. Where it is safe for everybody because guns are banned. And we know gun bans work. LOL

This neanderthal dufus caused twenty-two 911 calls to be phoned into the police.

If Jesus came back, Georgia would definitely be crossed off his places to visit list.

Like Cliven Bundy, these throwbacks provide more free material for Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert (soon to replace Letterman), and the always insightful Bill Maher.

Very good, with about 3.5 million legal handgun owners in the state, only one dumb a-hole decided to act like an i***t in Georgia this past week. He threatened no one with violence, but instead was only stupidly vocal about his right to carry a gun.

If he had said anything threatening, or had in any way pulled his weapon from its holster, not even pointing it at someone, he would have been arrested for assault. Apparently nothing in any way deemed a threat was said or done by him, since police made no arrest.

Okay, we have 1 in 3,500,000 legal handgun owners in Georgia, who's a mouthy fool, but harmed no one, ... big fricking deal.

Brian is from CA. I was using an example closer to his home. He also misquoted FBI stats saying that GA had more violent crime than NY. The stats for CA and GA appear to be about the same, unless you happen to be that unfortunate .7 of a person per 100,000. (I'm about 20 pounds overweight, I'd be glad to donate the excess to make the numbers even out ).

Don't forget the 600,000 odd of us who carry legally. I personally think open carry at a Little League game is stupid, but I see it all the time in restaurants, at WalMart, at the supermarket. My last trip to WalMart I saw three open carries, plus one concealed that I knew about, plus myself, and I wasn't even looking close. I was in and out for one item.

I realize your "Mexifornia" remark was meant to be a dig at our Hispanic neighbors, and family. My son-in-law is of Mexican ancestry.

FYI, you lock & loaded goobers ridiculing California is like a short man criticizing his neighbor for being tall. It does nothing to knock down your target a few pegs...but it sure does that for you.

Google: Cliven Bundy, Donald Sterling, r****m.

Live, love, from the liberal, ethnically diverse state of California (with its 55 e*******l v**es).

As Georgia goes, so goes Alabama.

As California goes......so goes the nation

Google: President Obama, California, e******n victories.
