Really tired of putting up with your hair-brained conspiracy theories while ignoring facts with your willing blindness. Enough!

I have tried to be nice to even the most vile critics against me, attempting a rapport through solid evidence and reasonable argument. I want to say that is useless but I love this country too much. The recent events of this week casts a very dark shadow on the politics of this country. It has gotten rancid and virulent. Defending Trump no matter what he does or says is adding to the discord and d******eness. You may not see how disgraceful this president is for wh**ever reason, pure or ignoble, but you need to hold him accountable for ripping apart the very fabric of our Republic, a Free Press. The h**eful games and gleeful spite you have enjoyed at America's expense needs to end. It was fun for you, I am sure, but it is time to grow up and be actual patriots.

Talk about issues, don't ambush the speaker you disagree with using insults, distortions, and distractions. Look to help solve this divide before there is no nation left. And that will happen at our present pace. It is terrifying to me that so many of you cannot see that point. This is not a "Chicken Little" tale. It is too real. But you are still hysterically whooping over Hillary's defeat, so you can't see the ominous writing on the wall: America is in great peril. Stop being giddy with success and lauding it over the Left. Sober the freaking up!

Speaking just for me, I agree with your sentiment, 100%... but disagree with what you call facts.

You are still hysterically crying foul because you lost an e******n. "Sober the freaking up!" Your side wants to do away with the e*******l college, blaming that longstanding institution for the loss; demonstrating your complete lack of understanding of the American political system and the Founders' reasons for establishing it.

President Trump may be an amateur politician and lack the cultured guile of our vaunted political professionals but he does get the job done. His disdain for political correctness and the consequent battering that lunacy is taking works to ensure that no pretender like Barack Obama will ever see the inside of the Oval Office again.

There is a responsibility that accompanies all rights and that is the responsible use of that right and the need to take responsibility for t***sgressing against that right. There is a world of difference between a free press and a political cheering squad. When his detractors in the general public, such as you, tout spin and condemnation in total ignorance of what President Trump's accomplishments are, you advertise the dishonesty of your information sources.

We do not stand behind President Trump, no-matter-what, as you imply. We are forced to his side by the blatant unfairness with which your side treats him. If you want his following to take a more measured view of the man, you need to start taking a more honest view of him, yourself. When you level insults, childish or otherwise, at President Trump, you hit us as well. If our responses to you seem to be "insults, distortions, and distractions" then perhaps you should review how you have addressed us and those we support as a matter of conscience.

We do not support President Trump because we are stupid any more than you support your ideological messengers out of stupidity. Like you, we believe our ideology represents the desirable future for our children and our nation. We just don't see your future as anything either workable or desirable. That isn't going to change. Ultimately, our side, or yours, will need to be suppressed or ejected because our two world views cannot coexist. They are polar opposites and all of the social underpinnings that made political disagreement tolerable in the past have been systematically destroyed by the so-called Progressive movement. Your brown-shirts have been in training since the 60s. Your side has already determined how this will end.

It has ever been thus.
America is always in great peril because it is an idea that needs re-affirming every generation. Don't despair....this too will pass. The country has been full of folks who fear their fellow citizens from the beginning and the violence that fear begets. Yet every generation has passed on an America that has embraced the experiment that is self government, and passed on the progress made each generation.

I no longer expect the Trumpists to be reasonable. They are cult members at this point. Their guru can do no wrong in their eyes because he reflects them so well. I don't even see Trump as a leader any more: he is a follower of his supporters worst instincts, as channeled through Fox 'News'.

There is no point in expecting the Trumpists to reflect conservative ideas anymore. They are as radical as the 'enemy' they so despise.
The mistake is to think that the Trump cult is America. Many of your fellow citizens agree with you. You just won't hear that fairly discussed by the Trumpists.

I think the advice to move on, or get over it, is solid. It's time to stop worrying about Trump and his followers and start thinking about what comes next. They are at the pinacle and there's no place to go but down. Their irrationality will not survive scrutiny...they will be seen as the modern day 'know nothings'. Our job is to make sure the progress they are trying to erase gets passed on to the next generation.

Trump is the howling symbol of the patriarchy not going gently into the night. They rage at the dying of the white light. That is what we are witnessing. I see cause for optimism.
