V**ers are reporting that some v****g machines in Texas are changing some straight-ticket Democratic v**es for Rep. Beto O’Rourke to v**es for Republican Sen. Ted Cruz. V**ers are reporting odd problems on both the Republican and Democratic side of straight-party v****g in Texas.
Mickey Blake was one of the v**ers in those early v****g lines in Houston earlier this week.
“I hit straight Democratic ticket,” Blake said.
She says she expected all Democrats to come up on her screen, especially Rep. Beto O’Rourke, but when she got to the last screen to review her choices, she noticed a problem.
“It’s all Democratic except for Ted Cruz was checked,” Blake said.
Texas officials called this problem an operational error that they have known about for years, but instead of getting rid of the v****g machines or warning v**ers about the error, e******n officials have shrugged their shoulders and claimed that nothing could be done. A version of the error exists on the straight Republican ticket, but instead of flipping Cruz v**es to O’Rourke, no v**e is cast at all in the Senate race when some v**ers select Cruz.

V**e flipping is much worse no v**e being cast in a race because v**e flipping is a clear corruption of the intent of the v**e. A candidate not being chosen on the straight ticket is a serious problem, but it is not the same as a v**e being awarded to candidate illegally.
V****g machines in Georgia have been reported to be counting v**es cast for Democrat Stacey Abrams for her Republican opponent Brian Kemp, so this appears to be by design and not a software glitch. It is interesting that these v****g machine problems happen in Republican-controlled states and benefit Republican candidates.
Texas Republicans could be trying to steal an e******n from Beto O’Rourke. V**ers must sit on the sidelines, and let this potential theft go unchallenged.

If AI has progressed so rapidly it now inhabits our v****g machines, it is good to hear that they are, at least, progressing in the right direction.

In case you haven't noticed, these things are not against the law. There are such "irregularities" everywhere, excused all kinds of ways and never corrected. On my 2016 b****t, for President, Trump was at the top, Clinton on the second page with all the oddballs in between. I had races on my b****t that were not my ward/district, yet when I reported this to the county e******n folk, they flat put told me that wasn't possible.

If we continue to use electronic machines, v**ers need to get a hard copy of their b****t for the record.

Re Beto, the first time I saw him, I felt a "nope." Then I read where he has a rap sheet and his
mother's business was closed down by the IRS. He sounds and seems and smells like a stinky f**e to me.
