I got a PM from Admin... they deleted my response..... I will paste the offensive message below, but I wanted everyone to know that you can bring the ire of Liberals on OPP for ANY reason....You need not use a pix or foul language.... all that is needed (apparently) is to hurt their feelings. But you be the judge. Was my remark in your opinion worthy of deletion?

My offensive.... I agreed with the poster, and they got "insulted."

So, here is the comment.

You are among the more civilized posters on OPP. I believe ADMIN definiately leans toward the left, but, of course, I cannot prove it. Many of the "Progressive lftist Marxists on OPP are impossible to getinto a conversation with. they either post absurd cartoons or some comment that is not germane to the subject. Often, in my frustration, I write the post I wish I could, and then delete it, andeither write something else or just not respond.

I have also had posts deleted. I was never sure but I think I used the word stupid to the wrong person. If you act stupid, someone will say you’re stupid. BUT that’s unsulting!

I've had posts deleted, usually it's for crossing a line of pointed insult, I haven't quite figured out where it's at though. I've seen others say things far worse without censorship. I'm just assuming that it's an attempt to keep the site on the civil side without too much direct personal insults.

If I were the sensitive type, my feeling would be hurt all the time. In any case, I can't see any legitimate reason for admin's response...............they are not responsible for protecting the touchy feely folks.

I do not think this was an automated thing, as I quickly did a scan and found the word "moron" being used extensively. Also, if you go to the thread, I am not the only one to have agreed with his personal assessment. So.... it had to have been reported to Admin by someone.
And, I do not think it was Rumi.... As I know I live rent free in another person's head 24/7.

Probably depends on how close to the t***h you came and how thin skinned the recipient was. Many OPP'rs only get offended if you call them late for supper and many others are too dense to realize they have been insulted.
