Austrian Woman Convicted For Calling Muhammad A P*******e
Authoritative Muslim texts record the marriage of Islam’s founder, Muhammad, to a 6-year-old girl named Aisha, and the consummation of their relationship when she was 9.
While some might think it an impertinent cultural judgment, describing such an action by a 53-year-old man as “p********a” aligns with the sensibilities of the Western world.
But not in the European Court of Human Rights, which upheld Thursday the criminal conviction and fine of an Austrian who discussed the Islamic prophet’s child marriage at a conference of the populist Freedom Party.
The woman, described as E.S. by the court, was convicted of disparaging religious doctrines and fined more than $500 in a judgment that was upheld on two appeals, the Daily Sabah of Istanbul reported
The Strasbourg, France-based court found that her statements describing Muhammad as a p*******e “had been likely to arouse justified indignation in Muslims” and “amounted to a generalization without factual basis.”
Such comments, the court said, are not protected by the freedom of expression provisions of Article 10 of the European Convention of Human Rights.
The court asserted her statements “were not phrased in a neutral manner aimed at being an objective contribution to a public debate concerning child marriages.”
The Austrian courts had drawn a distinction between p********a and child marriage, the Turkish newspaper said, which they contended was also a common practice historically in European ruling families.
The European court classified the woman’s “impugned” statements as “an abusive attack on the Prophet of Islam, which was capable of stirring up prejudice and putting at risk religious peace.”
Among Austria’s 8.8 million people are about 600,000 Muslims.
‘Perfect man’
Jihad Watch Director Robert Spencer commented that the problem the Austrian courts overlooked was that Muhammad is held up in Islam as the perfect example of conduct for Muslims.
In Afghanistan, Spencer pointed out, because of Muhammad, virtually all girls above third-grade age are married.
But the Austrian court, he wrote, “would have us believe either that there is no p********a in these child marriages, or that they have nothing to do with Muhammad, both of which could be proven false readily.”
In July, an Islamic Shariah court in Indonesia allowed a 41-year-old man to keep his 11-year-old bride. He was fined only for not seeking approval from the court or from his current two spouses.
Che Abdul Karim drew international outrage when he posted a photo of him with his bride on Facebook.
He told the Borneo Post: “I was disappointed with various criticisms and allegations made against me in the social media after I took her as my third wife.”
The couple were married by an imam in June.
Spencer, the author of “The History of Jihad: From Muhammad to ISIS,” called the European court ruling “an important step toward the imposition of Sharia in Europe, as it is a tacit acceptance of Sharia blasphemy restrictions on criticizing Muhammad.”
He asked rhetorically if the European Court of Human Rights would rule that someone deserved a fine and imprisonment for criticizing Jesus.
“The case wouldn’t even come to them,” he said.

Europe surrendered to the Islamic invasion a long time ago, from Sweden to Londonistan and points East. In Sweden, they've gone so far as to cancel annual Christmas festivals for fear of offending the former "refugees" while holding large public celebrations for Ramadan.
Large European cities have "no go" zones in which Muslims have set up housekeeping in filthy eyesore tent cities that resemble the homeless encampments on skid row in L.A. or along the Venice, Ca. Boardwalk.
They are called "no go" zones because even the police avoid them as being too dangerous.
Gang rapes, acid attacks on "infidels," small scale "lone wolf" terrorist attacks, beatdowns and various other h**e crimes are perpetrated by former "refugees" pretty regularly, but the liberal media and the politicians over there, not wanting to offend their new Islamic masters, keep as low a profile on it all as they can.
If the political left in this country had their way, the U.S. would be experiencing the same things.

It is time for our Civilian leaders to request that our U.S. Military leaders step forward and give us a plan to defend this land.
I couldn't agree with you more that European political leaders/rulers have surrendered, but am without any definitive understanding as to why they would do so.
The willingness of those who control European culture, to acquiesce to a "lemming like," suicidal urge to submit to hostile Muslim takeover is inexplicable and breathtaking.
If or when the progressives/democrats in our own country regain even a modicum of power they appear to be willing to happily give away American sovereign rights to Muslims who are waiting in the wings.
Why many of our own political elites do not value our own culture over those with a 7th century radical ideology which, to a large extent will be a direct assault upon their families and neighborhoods, is inexplicable.
This is a time in which we should seek the counsel of devout godly men, and the protection of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who led us to this great land.

What I believe has happened is that the garden variety liberals, here and abroad, having no idea that not every evil will succumb to reason, or entertaining some belief that deep down, every declared, malevolent enemy actually has their best interests at heart, have allowed the far left to persuade them that their only real enemy is those of us to whom they SHOULD be listening.
Unfortunately, their naivety could very well d**g the rest of us down into tragic circumstances.

The day after 9/11, I thought, "now our president and our congressmen, and maybe even our State Department (although that would be much for which to hope) will all read the Qur'an and will understand the mindset of our enemies."
That, to my knowledge, and to all appearances, hasn't happened to this day, and probably never will.
The liberal/progressives in this country definitely consider those to their right in political thinking, their greatest enemies.
I am convinced they would prefer to vanquish us, rather than ISIS.
It is, in my humble opinion, spiritual warfare, and always will be.
