Reid has walked a fine line over the years, occasionally breaking rules or engaging in brazenly unseemly behavior during his pursuit of wealth. Further, he has also used his position to save money in ways that the general public cant -- a practice that creates public relations issues and raises questions about the senators ethics. As for any illegal behavior or obvious wrongdoing, Jon Ralston told RCP, Theres been some smoke but theres never any fire on that.
There is quite a bit of smoke.

It is fascinating to watch this guy - while posturing as a man of the people he shows disdain for the smelly common man. He has no problem making the most outrageous comments, fully confident that his followers are either as morally corrupt as he, or too dumb to realize the low opinion he has of them. He's the ultimate champion of the minimally informed and maximally corrupt.

Reid is a classic example as to why all of Congress should have term limits.
When I hear some of these senators talk about welfare moms, the first thing that comes to mind is you have made your money on the back of tax payers. Why are you any different?
We have quite a few lifers in Congress. They need to go. Maybe new talent will come up with new ideas. If they only have two terms, how much money will corps be willing to pay them?

One may have to look harder, but where there is smoke there is fire. Also we have to use higher standards to find the fire because by todays lax standards he fits right in.
