Socialism is living off someone else's money.
When my return on investment is related to how much I invest, that's social security. It's a forced investment though. I could have done much better investing it on my own.
Medicare? Now that's socialism. I'm enrolled, but would rather not have that system.

I would rather not pay for the highway you drive on or bridge you cross or the elect grid that serves the area. I h**e to pay to have mail service to your home and business .

These things serve everyone. It's called "common good" or "civilization". I'm paying for the highway YOU drive on and the bridges....etc. I would rather NOT pay for someone else's college education or medical expenses or rent or education, especially if they are "i*****l a***ns", but even if they are citizens. I haven't had kids in school for 40 years, but I still pay for schools in my state.

And those who do not drive still pay for highways. I have not had kids in school even longer.

Obviously, you can't see the difference in paying for "common good" items and paying for "entitlements".
I believe that everyone should get a tax break for money for schools after a certain age - Common Good
I wouldn't mind paying for highways even if I didn't drive if my family used them to visit me. - Common Good

Get it??

You understand that those who pay taxes for schools pay for other peoples kids their' are already grown. Simi's in my state do not pay any highway taxes but their trucks destroy all the roads, other citizens pay the gas taxes that build and rebuild roads. But we all help for the common good. The Left only sees how to use the common good for their selfess reasons. They would like to restrict us deplorables to having to buy passes to use the roads we build. This they would be fine with.

In other words you like social programs because they benefit the people

In other words, taxes used for the "common good" is the reason we have taxes. Unfortunately, people that pay taxes don't have much of a voice in where they are spent. Democrats that advocate so-called "social programs" count on getting v**es from people that benefit from them. Basically, they "buy v**es" with other peoples' money. Everyone knows that and it's a hard thing to stop.

Only because you lefties assume that every dollar belongs to the government and anything the government lets the people keep is truly a gift.

Maybe you should try looking it up on something besides factcheck, like the source, or maybe google up her gofundme sites, maybe you could learn something or even donate to her cause if you're so inclined.
