Don't know where you get your info. Canada didn't own the mines. Frank Guistra (a Clinton buddy) and Uranium One had LEASES on land in Wyoming where the Uranium in question came from. Only 5.9% of the final product (10-11% raw product) was ever shipped out for refining (to a company in Canada) then returned to the US for use in power plants. Sale of uranium COULDN'T have happened to Russia due to the non-proliferation agreements in place between the US and Russia.

Again, don't know where you get your facts. Clinton did not sign off on the deal personally, but she knew about it, helped facilitate the deal and her under-secretary damn sure DID sign off on the deal while at the State Dept.. Obama DAMN WELL knew about it as he was the one last step in the process that could have stopped it. To say it was unimportant is sheer ignorance.

In case you missed it, both sides had involvement with the Russians. Trump got word that there was dirt on HiLIARy from a Ukranian businessman. It turned out to be false. Meeting in Trump tower was about fast-tracking some Russian immigrant children who needed medical attention in the US. The Clinton / Steele dossier (proven fact now, again) was started by a Russian working out of the Ukraine in Moscow met with some businessmen and over drinks, half drunk, slipped and said he may have dirt on Trump. This is already proven, time and again, over and over. It was all a lie which ended up being the basis for the FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign.
My problem with the deal is Bill Clinton was paid $500,000 for a speaking engagement in Moscow and the Clinton Foundation was the recipient of $145 Million in donations both from the Russians and Frank Guistra to facilitate the deal and make UraniumOne (which after 5 years now is wholly owned by the Russians) look good to investors.
All Uranium from the mines and sales wound up right back in the US. No Problem.
HilLIARy stated in WRITING that ALL donations from ANYWHERE to the Clinton foundation would be declared. She didn't declare the $145 Million donation from the Russians and Frank Guistra. PROBLEM...!
Bill Clinton didn't declare or pay taxes on the $500,000 speaking fee he was paid in Moscow. PROBLEM...!
What Bill and Hillary did was money laundering and tax evasion. SAME SH*T THAT NOW HAS PUAL MANAFORT HEADED TO PRISON FOR.. !!! But the Clinton's skate off into the sunset scottfree.... PROBLEM...!!
