Garland, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh Proves The GOP Has No Regard For Fair Democratic Ethics And Dems Do

I've been seeing lip service by people on this site pertaining to the lack of ethics and winning at any cost dems exhibit, that is BS. The GOP is making up their own rules in a way that makes dems feel like rules are for chumps, not for the GOP.

First of all fairness and the desire to play fair in a bipartisan manner was always displayed by Obama with both of his successful supreme court justices and Merrick Garland. None of the three was a flaming liberal dems were going to jam down the throats of the right like GOP picks have been. Picks have been direct centrist judges with established records of strictly adhering to the constitutional law and legal precedents. Kagan and Sotomayer were passed with bipartisan support that wasn't squeaking by with a marginal v**e. They were picks that by design had no valid reason not to support. Garland was just right that the GOP could actually consider him favorably due to a slightly right lean.

So what do we see after the GOP simply refused to attempt to even go through motions confirming Garland, when he had been confirmed almost unanimously before? We see hard right judges. Gorsuch would be a blessed relief compared to the partisan mess Kavanaugh is. He was so outside of acceptable reality he wasn't even on the Federalist Society or other right wing lists provided to Trump. McConnell told Trump not to go with Kavanaugh, that he was problematic. Now why do you think he thought that? It was because the guy had been involved in far too many partisan issues, and criticized desicions, opinions, and overturned cases.

It would be nice if the right would put forward centrist judges that both parties have no reason to oppose, that's the way the supreme court should be.

That'd be great, except for the fact that the left's opinion of a "centrist" judge is someone like the l*****t whacko Sonia Sotomayor.

Trump requires Kavanaugh to help him remain a free man when time catches up to Trump... Trump is the most self centered man In America … Now history has proven the word laughs at him not with him... Go Trump... go somewhere else & let America return to civility... before he starts the war of last resort... America against everyone else...
