I went to NYU, one of the most radical schools in the country. They told me I was a lunatic for my views so when it came to an internet screen name, I figured I might as well accept that I'm a lunatic, hence the screen name.

Excellent post. Just one disagreement, in reference to the part quoted above. Actually the l*****ts have made a distinction between the old, yucky, messy, murdering socialism/c*******m (of the USSR, China, Cuba, Cambodia, and everywhere else it's been tried and failed) and the new, shiny, neat, murdering Democratic Socialism they now support.
What you fail to comprehend is that this new Democratic Socialism, which has all the features of the old national socialism, and soviet socialism, will work this time because it's name has the word Democratic in it.

This is quite true. We don't even recognize psychopathic behavior when we see it in real life, on TV, or in the papers. Their behavior registers as sort of annoying and not applicable in one's own sphere, but somewhere else far away like San Francisco. The closer to home it gets, however, the sharper our reactions. We have a very large country!
