Kavanaugh Accuser Refused To Attend Monday Hearing for Absurd Reason

Allegations of sexual assault aren’t supposed to veer into the darkly comical. That’s generally a sign that things have gone terribly wrong somewhere along the line, or that whoever beholds the process as darkly comical is a twisted individual.

I think I’m on safe ground when I say those finding absurdity in the case of Christine Blasey Ford decidedly aren’t twisted.

In the most bizarre reason why the 51-year-old research psychologist accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assaulting her in high school can’t testify before Congress on Monday, Ford has said she cannot attend because she’s afraid of flying.

“The GOP has been told that Ford does not want to fly from her California home to Washington, according to the Republican senator, which means she may need to drive across the country to make the hearing,” Politico reported Friday.

“Ford has reportedly told friends she is uncomfortable in confined spaces, indicating a physical difficulty in making the trip by plane.”

Apparently, planes qualify as “confined spaces” but cars don’t. Makes sense.

The irony here, of course, is that the Senate Judiciary Committee has expressed a willingness to come to her so that Ford doesn’t even have to come to Washington, at least according to public statements made by the committee’s chairman, GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa.

“Five times now we hv granted extension for Dr Ford to decide if she wants to proceed w her desire stated one wk ago that she wants to tell senate her story,” Grassley tweeted.

“Dr Ford if u changed ur mind say so so we can move on I want to hear ur testimony. Come to us or we to u.”...

I find it incredible that one of Ford's "conditions" for testifying is that Kavanaugh testify first! What allegations is he going to respond to? A newspaper article in the Washington Post? He needs to hear her full testimony in order to respond. What are her lawyers thinking that they try to dictate to the Committee what they want the Committee to do or not do. This is absurd.

Here's the way I see it, eagle, the progressive establishment elites are so obsessed with defeat and so consumed by hatred for a brazen outsider who had the cojones and the courage to crash their party and take a flamethower to their sanctified chambers of self-serving elitism, who has the unmitigated gall to shove their lust for power and control down their lying throats, that they are racing headlong and blind into the fire and fury of an enflamed citizenry. The progs are so overwhelmed by their own hubris that they are incapable of considering the disastrous consequences of what they are doing.

The American character is the result of two hundred years of struggle for and enjoyment of freedom, self-reliance and rugged individualism, of can-do entrepreneurship and "git er done" convictions. We are not in any way, shape or form like the billions of people on earth who have suffered under authoritarian government systems and struggled to exist under the jack boots of oppression for decades, for centuries.

In the mindless and warped sense of entitlement and unholy elitism of liberal progressives, in their overblown conceit, their boundless arrogance, they are completely unaware of the fact that millions of American patriots still exist in the U.S.

Liberal progessivism is the bastard child of C*******m, it is an imported ideology alien to American society, culture, and our way of life. Liberal progressivism, like Marxism, like F*****m, like C*******m, is an abstract system of governance conceived by political philosophers and fabricated upon an artificial framework alien to the human spirit and diametrically opposed to any belief in a power greater than itself. Liberal progressivism is a plague, a malignant v***s that consumes all that is decent and good about human life.

Among the members of my extended family, my immediate friends and life long buds, among casual associates, I know not one who has sold his or her soul to the progressive devil. In this remote community in which I live, a remarkable percentage of families have sons and daughters serving in the US Armed Forces. Along the streets you see yard signs and on the vehicles are bumper stickers saying "Our son is a US Marine" or "Our daughter is in the US Air Force". And, in the yards and on the vehicles, the American f**g flies. This little town is an American town, and there are many more like it.

Should the liberal progressives succeed in shredding our constitution and replacing it with The Manifesto, should they o*******w our American system of governance and attempt to establish an oppressive one party system, there will be a reckoning, there will arise a resistance unlike anything ever before in human history. It is patently obvious that the liberal prog elites have not taken the measure of American patriots, I see no evidence that they even acknowledge we exist. And that is their Achilles Heel.

This is the way I see it, eagle, radical as it may seem, I am not alone.

The longer that the Brett Kavanaugh sexual assault allegation scandal continues, the worse it looks for the accuser.

Feinstein’s Error

Senator Dianne Feinstein, the lawmaker whom Christine Blasey Ford confided in with her accusations, has done a great job at destroying any credibility Ford had going into this. By being informed of her allegations in the form of a letter back in July, and waiting until a week before Kavanaugh’s Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation v**e to release the details, Feinstein has tainted Ford’s claims. Now, many suspect the allegations are too politically timed to be believed. Even some Senate Democrats are displeased by the suspect timing. At the beginning of this saga, Ford could have made a real, substantive case about her alleged assault. She could have made the allegations and demanded a full inquiry. Instead, she waited to go public, and, in turn, undermined her own case. Now Ford is refusing to testify before Congress, despite her attorney agreeing that she would just days prior. Missing Evidence

But it gets worse. It turns out that Sen. Feinstein’s office is withholding a key piece of information related to the Kavanaugh investigation: Ford’s unredacted original letter detailing the assault.

Now, if Feinstein really wanted to get to the bottom of what happened between Kavanaugh and Ford, you’d think she would share that letter with the rest of the Senate Judiciary Committee, which is investigating the incident currently. But she isn’t:
