Oh yes, it was Senator Obama!!!
This is where his Administration planned on putting the terrorists from Gitmo,
and we have Americans living in cardboard boxes on the streets that have
never k**led anyone. Nothing makes sense anymore!!!
How's that compare with "Sheriff Joe's" prison in Arizona ????

It takes an understanding of the opposition to putting GITMO prisoners in prisons here, the opposition was ludicrous, the GOP fought the idea of bringing the prisoners here. Turns out we built the most secure prison in the country and the GOP still refused to close the prison.

On US soil those Gitmo perps would have US rights and would cost the US taxpayer hugely more than Gitmo.
