Since Christine Blasey Ford came forward on Sunday, accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her when they were teenagers, she has been subjected to death threats and email hacking, and her family has had to leave their home and hire security, according to her lawyers.

Myths about Ford that attempt to discredit her have also been circulating. The myths have been debunked.

Myth: Students left bad reviews about Ford on a website.

Fact: Ford is a professor at Palo Alto University, and several right-wing media outlets said she received negative reviews on the website RateMyProfessors.com calling her “mad,” “troubled” and “unprofessional.”

The reviews exist, but they were about another professor: Christine Adams Ford at California State University, Fullerton.

Myth: Ford is a major Democratic donor.

Fact: Ford is a registered Democrat, which was disclosed when she came forward in the Washington Post.

The Mercury News in San Jose, Calif., reports that she attended a Women’s March protesting Trump in 2017 and wore a pink “brain hat” in a March for Science in 2017 that protested the Trump administration’s proposed cuts to science research.

But her donations to Democratic committees and campaigns were small. According to the Federal E******n Commission, they totaled around $80 between 2013 and 2017.

Myth: Brett Kavanagh’s mother ruled against Ford’s parents in a foreclosure case.

Fact: Kavanaugh’s mother, Martha Kavanaugh, presided as a Maryland district court judge in a foreclosure case where Ford’s parents, Ralph and Paula Blasey, were the defendants in 1996.

However, the Blaseys were able to refinance their mortgage, and according to CBS News, Judge Martha Kavanaugh dismissed the case. The dismissal allowed the Blaseys to keep their house.

Ford has been given the opportunity to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Lord have mercy, we must absolutely not allow false accusations, exaggerated myths, and unsubstantiated lies to sully the fine character and taint the pure soul of another democrat manufactured victim. God forbid that we should vilify such an outstanding citizen.

No, we must unleash the wrath upon the cretins who have the gall to serve the American people with distinction. It's only fair and definitely for the benefit of the American people that we destroy the lives of such brazen fools.

Like this from another thread that you either missed or ignored? Just because you don't want to believe something*, doesn't make it "crap".

You as usual are wrong she said it came back to her while talking to someone.Another thing you
conveniently forgot was that her parents lost a suit that was about a mortgage and kavanough was the judge that ruled against Them. Now another thing you you left out is that she is a radical c*******t and has been in parades with radicals.Nothing you say is reasonable you are a c****e t*****r and have no reasoning powers.

Some misinformation there regarding the mortgage foreclosure proceedings, Vernon...

Kavanaugh's mother, according to the following, ruled in favor of Mrs. Ford's parents...the pertinent excerpt(s) following the link:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/kavanaughs-downfall-impossible-now-seems-likely-121329375.html

"John Cornyn of Texas, the Senate GOP’s second-in-command and a member of the Judiciary Committee, lambasted Democrats for having 'egregiously mishandled' the Kavanaugh nomination — presumably by making the accusations against him public so late in the process. Cornyn suggested that Ford’s charge was nothing but 'a smear.'

As did many Trump supporters on social media. Some touted poor student ratings for Ford, failing to notice that they had found an altogether different California professor with a similar name. Others pointed out that Kavanaugh’s mother, also a judge, had been involved in foreclosure proceedings against Ford’s parents. This was true, but this was not revenge served cryogenically cold: Her ruling had been for Ford’s parents, not against them."

This, seemingly, eliminates any "revenge" factor. However, I admit to limited knowledge of all the details.
