Not in the least. I was listening to Obama blathering yesterday as he proceeded to take more credit for the economy and then proceeded to slam w****s and the police.

I know what he is, but it's a forbidden term. That's how bad he is.

Actually, Archie, it represents quite a good analysis of what is happening.

I don't think anyone knows exactly what is happening. Too much bad information out there.

And maybe he should have left out the insults. I see him denigrating others for what he considers insults, then he posts something like this.
Reminds me of a Jr. High schooler who is good at stringing words together.
Like I said......unimpressive.

This is nothing but a blanket insult against millions of people you've never met, and know nothing about.
Even with all of your pretty wordification, and self righteous arrogance, this, as with most of your posts is unimpressive, and leaves one thinking that you are an extremely small person.

Hello again Mr. Bunker. Hope you are well in your neck of the plains.

However you may feel about Straightup's post, I think it is a mistake for Trump supporters to underestimate the thinking behind his post.
As you know, on OPP millions of liberals and Democrats suffer blanket insults multiple times on a daily basis. We are told to deal with it and stop whining.

The point is that this administration (and it's supporters) is making a critical error in ignoring, if not actively alienating, the half of the nation that did not v**e for the President. We don't go away.

It's not just the blue states that are ignoring or working against the administration. It's also just regular people where ever you find them. For example, here in NC the notorious 'bathroom bill' (HB2) is on the books but is not enforced in any fashion. There's no one looking at who is going into which bathroom.

While it is true that millions of working class folks may have v**ed for Trump as a change agent from politics as usual, it may not be true that they will accept anything that the President does. I know that polls are not the final word, however, they may be telling the administration that this is not what they v**ed for. They ignore that at their own risk.

That's why we v**e.

Since no one mentioned foreign policy or subjugating the US to anyone I'm afraid Richard is correct.

With senior White House officials anonymously writing op-eds to assure the people that "grown ups" are on staff to undercut the presidents insanity and now former Secretary of State John Kerry negotiating with Iran, it seems that Trump is loosing control (if he ever had any). It's one thing to be so disrespected, but these new developments show a whole level of dysfunction that we've not seen before in the White House. And now Trump's approval rating is dropping in ALL the polls.

So, obviously, an upset can occur within the space of a single e******n cycle but to turn that anomaly into a sustained shift in power would take a far more that a tweetstorm of BS. In the past, people like Hitler and Mussolini moved quickly to secure the power shift after the first e******n slip mostly through techniques that have eventually become associated with f*****m. For a while, it was looking like Trump was going to do the same thing, but Trump is no Hitler. Trump is no Mussolini... Trump is a ridiculous fool who spends way too much time on vanities. So if the White-Nationalists and various other deplorables want to Make America White Again, they're going to need to find a new guy.

In the meantime, it's reassuring to know that even while Trump sits on his throne, his power is being c*********d from within. He is depending more and more on a shrinking base of ineffective morons to support him while the "grownups" continue to ignore his orders and preserve the things of value that Trump is trying to destroy.

But don't loose hope, deplorables... Pence is right there, waiting in the wings. And this is why I advocate letting Trump stay on his throne until 2020. Kerry should be telling Iran to hang tight until then as I am sure he is. I'm sure all the great democracies around the world are doing the same. It's only two more years, after all. In that time, Trump's reckless policies, such as the 2017 Tax cut will have their effect and he won't be able to blame the consequences on his impeachment. Meanwhile, Trumps inability to legislate through Congress (he has sponsored only two LAWS in two years), his inability to enforce his own executive orders in sanctuary states like California (who is basically flipping Trump the bird) and his inability to gain any real consensus in the international community makes him to a large degree, ineffective.

I'm not saying we don't have anything to worry about... Any issue where Trump is really just doing what the Republicans want, such as the tax cuts and judicial nominees is an issue of concern, but the idea that Trump is going to buck the system is about as realistic as Pee Wee Herman destroying ISIS. Most of the powers that decide the world are just going to ignore his demands until he is v**ed off the island in 2020 and the parts of Obama's legacy, that are still relevant will be reinstated.
With senior White House officials anonymously writ... (show quote)

This rant sounds like the dream you had last night.

Apparently, you dreamed that you lived in a kindom ruled by your worst nightmare.

A filthy rich international businessman and playboy who spent his own money to become king of world.

A king who insults nation's, destroys political correctness, and makes seasoned politicians look like imbeciles.

A king who shocked the entire planet with a biblical victory over the most powerful leaders in the United States

A king who stomps right over your indignant juvenile blabbering and proceeds to prominence and a place in history for all to remember.

And you get to witness it all while remaining a helpless, whinining, insignificant dolt.

If everyone is against you that doesn't mean you're bucking the system. Especially, if everyone is ignoring your demands and preparing to impeach you.

To say the deep state is trying to rid itself of true freedom shows that you're stretching. Think about it... why would ANYONE try to rid themselves of freedom?

Dude, I have offered a $100 bet with you. YOu wanted odds, I guess, because you are just not that sure of your self. YOU have been the wuss here. YOU will not agree to the bet.

Don't try to flip the narrative on this with me. I'll take the bet for $100, no odds, that the repugs will not lose the house.

Take it or wuss out.

Mornin WCS.
Everything is as usual here. I'm a little concerned for those in your neck of the woods what with that Flo gal, and all. Yall doing OK?

And yes, there are blanket insults all around that do nothing but devide, and create animosity. I'm no doubt guilty of it myself, even though I try to address individuals instead of groups.
The bathroom issue, like many, many other things now is something created by a very small, but loud part of the population, and used as a bludgeon against any who disagree. There is a very simple solution, but the l*****t bullies have made an issue out of it. My opinion.

In my simple little mind, I'm looking at what's going on in this country like a marriage with a lot more women than men.

The woman comes to the man with a problem, and he offers a solution to the problem. Well, then the woman counters with a million problems to said offered solution. Both disagree, get mad, and walk away while the problem remains, and/or grows worse because a solution can't be agreed upon.
Neither is always right, and neither is always wrong.
And here's the rub.
In our political climate, neither will admit to being wrong.

There's no shame in being wrong. We're humans. Hell, it even happened to me once. Yesterday. It was a pretty good day for me!
Today is a new one though!

I hope you all are ok over there!!

The alternative of a Donald Trump presidency was a criminally insane Hillary clinton , who would have tried the continuing denuding of our constituting principles and our sovereignty as the United States..Clinton was the only other person who could have been v**ed in...and while campaigning she was already talking nukes toward Russia.
The suicide queen was promising a 500% increase of immigrants..assuring that we would already have the major problems plaguing much of Europe..
She had high hopes of her version of gun control..which would be allowing the U.N. to confiscate small arms via the treaty she signed as secretary of state.
Clinton h**es our Republic as it stands and Donald Trump does not..
