Democrats in California are now weighing ways to control ammunition purchases
Breitbart News reported that California ushered in 2018 with ammunition controls by mandating that residents only buy in-state ammunition, and requiring that those purchases be made from state-approved ammunition vendors.
January 1, 2019, will witness phase two of the ammunition controls by requiring that ammo purchases pass a point-of-sale background check for a box or bullets or shells. A fee will be required to cover the cost of the background check, thereby increasing the price paid for ammunition.
As with firearms, background checks for ammunition will lead to a database on ammunition purchasers.
California lawmakers are achieving their ammunition controls by appealing to federal law says persons prohibited from firearm purchases are also prohibited from buying ammunition.
National Shooting Sports Foundation’s Larry Keane commented on the increased hassle law-abiding citizens will face when buying ammunition, and he also noted the increased price, as the system of ammunition background checks is funded with additional fees.
Keane said, “Raising taxes on bullets to offset the cost of gun violence is akin to putting a levy on prescription drugs to pay for the price of heroin addiction.”

I was a STRUCTURAL PEST CONTROL OPERATOR in California for a time of 20 years. I was subjected to 40,000 rules and regulations. My lawyer advised me to get out of the business. There was no way I could survive in that environment.

I kind of remember this one group in politics that kept saying that they didn't want to take away our guns all they wanted was for some common sense gun controls to limit the extreme shooting of children was all. Now what was the name of that group can anyone remember I believe that it started with a D.
Obama showed then the way when he put the smelter out of business, you don't need to take their guns take their ammunition.

If they start doing that good old Jerry Brown will install guards at the border and destroy your car looking for ammo. They will have ammo sniffing dogs and heaven knows what all to keep you from having ammo.

The ex-military men have an agreement with several tire sales places to pick up their used lead tire weights they balance tires with. They melt it and use it to mold bullets with it.
They also buy ammunition through the mail and gunpowder and primers. They have reloading equipment for .380, .45, .44 magnum the M-14, the M-16, and .50 caliber sniper rifle.
The local Narional Guard, Sheriffs Department, local Police Department and sportsmen use our rifle range free. The men pick up the brass and shotgun shells and reload them.
Then they sell them back to the Sheriff and Police Departments cheaper than they can buy them locally. Sportsmen seldom buy the reloads but supply lots of brass. They got a pretty nice thing going for theirselves.
Every weekend they compete against each other. Sounfs like a war going on all day long. Even Mother Nurse competes. She is a qualified marksman (woman). 😉😎

If California lawmakers were fined every time they said or did something stupid they would most likely have a surplus instead of a deficit. As with Dianne Feinstein's latest charade. Maybe it's her final Act before she crawls headfirst back into the swamp and look for a place to die.
