It is at times like this that you find the true character of a person, what is important to them and what is their core. Trump displayed a total lack of respect and self-centeredness. Try to take the blinders off and finally get the type of man he is! His actions were outrageous. Puerile. Pathetic.

He begins 9/11 not with solemnly honoring the dead or condolences to the families of the lost or words of encouragement to the country, but with three angry attacks on the FBI to protect and promote himself.

Then tweets, “17 years since 9/11,” obviously quite proud of his “stable genius” brilliant calculations at figuring that 2001 from 2018=17 years. But why even post that except to quietly boast of his tremendous math sk**l that no one in the history of mankind, or even the future, could possibly ever match? What other purpose? First-graders are aware. It is meaningless.

Then two-handed fist-pumping for himself as he arrives at the Memorial Service—which is for the honored fallen, not a campaign rally. A little circumspect solemnity was appropriate. But you can plainly see here it is, as usual, all about himself.

Then a picture of him and his wife in front of the WH with hands over their hearts. That conceit speaks for itself. "Over here, look at us, we're the special ones today."

Then a picture of his entire staff out on the WH lawn honoring the fallen...a year ago. You can plainly see Omarosa and Hicks in the picture. Too much trouble to organize the same this year. Or it was just intended as a good photo-op the first year? If CNN had used the picture,Trump would have squealed “f**e news.”

You can listen to a prepared speech and be thrilled? What led up to the speech was disgraceful. That you can't see that is frightening. In character up to the speech, disrespectful, indifferent, self-obsessed, mean-spirited, and then a photo-op. Open your eyes! I read the speech. A father beats his child mercilessly, seriously injuring him or her, and then says, "This hurt me more than you." All better? That is Trump's response on 9/11 to the victims and families of 9/11/2001.

Oh, and I have no interest in impeaching Trump for two reasons: 1) all the fun goes out of politics; 2) Pence is far worse than Trump.

No, he owns you. For someone to be so blindly supportive, always defending his every lie, is s***ery. On this point about disputing researchers reports on the Puerto Rico death toll, if you were not totally enthralled with Herr Trump, you would have, as many other Republicans have, questioned what he said. Attacking me for pointing out the absurdity of his denials is ownership license. (Yet thank you for the picture of Trump moonwalking on water: fun!)
