We recently presented the Convention of States message at the nation's premier gathering of state legislators from across America. This session was one of our best yet.

Thanks to your generous support, we were able to host two sessions to equip legislative leaders with tools to effectively advocate for the passage of the Convention of States application in their states.

But perhaps most valuable, we conducted a full day of private meetings with delegations and key legislators from states that have not yet joined the call for a Convention of States.

In each meeting, our team received crucial insight into key legislators’ positions, timing, and how to approach leadership.

Many legislators offered their own support and assistance to our efforts. In meetings that included legislators who were undecided or opposed to our efforts, we made considerable progress in softening their opposition, building positive relationships, and in some cases, winning them over.

But our work is only just beginning. Using this information, our team is mobilizing to follow up with key contacts who will open the door to partnerships that could be the difference between a victory or loss in many states.
