Let me rephrase that, when I first got into a 401 it was through Fidelity, after 4 years with them they had an offer, lifetime support, newsletters and other tips so for $150 I jumped and accepted it. Peter Lynch showed up at our work pushing the Magellan Fund so I watched it closely, it was like gold, two for one splits so I jumped in.

Have never use a firm, I know of several people that have and they haven't done as well as I have. I follow Fidelity and watch them very closely.

Like ancient history. I heard it just this morning: "The tax cuts and a ton of regulations being done away with were two reasons for the booming economy", and this came from a bonafide Democrat.

Again, from Chuck Jones of Forbes...

Trump's Federal Budget Deficit: $1 Trillion And Beyond

"The U.S. Federal deficit was $587 billion in Obama’s last year and it grew to $666 billion in Trump’s first year of his presidency. I’ve been reviewing a report from the U.S. Treasury Department, which shows that the U.S. Federal Deficit will probably increase this year (fiscal 2018), could come close to if not exceed $1 trillion in fiscal 2019 and will likely exceed $1 trillion in fiscal 2020 and beyond. And this is before the additional deficits created by the tax reform bill and the just passed two year budget. Note that the U.S. fiscal year ends in September."

I would disagree with you on that, Bmac32, as I believe it is all about one's Family. For, no matter how much you hug your money, it never hugs back.

"Besides, money can’t buy happiness. But, it can buy you the kind of misery you prefer."

It is the love of money that is the root of all evil. As witnessed in unpaid IOUS from one dastardly Marine.

Money cannot by happiness but you can rent it all day long. Have on old grunt buddy, very wise. He always says if you can fly it, float it or f**k it. Rent it.
