They got him for lying, and considering Trump's cabinet members that have lied to the FBI and senate in hearings, there was only so hard he could go. Besides, that light sentence may be an indicator he did cooperate.

You don't have a clue what came out of this or what it was worth in terms of such a wide investigation with so many people involved. Papadop may have done some serious loosening up of other lips because of what he knows.
