Agree or disagree? Is it a 1st Amendment issue? Alex Jones said on many occasions that Sandy Hook never happened, the parents of all those tragically dead little children were "paid actors" trying to make a case for gun control, a liberal conspiracy. Do you want such comments? Why not allow for h**e and r****t speech? Why not allow for trolls? What do we lose or gain by banning them? Alex Jones is a known total crackpot. What he writes appeals to the baser instincts in humanity. So? Or should we look for a higher standard of communication on social media? Whose standard? Where does it end? Will such censorship become the arm of some political agenda? What reasonable standards can we adopt?

I never banned anyone. I created alternative personas to speak out of frustration because I could not bring myself to unfriend, ban, or wh**ever. Perhaps this move could be considered to be a limitation on his rights. The courts have already ruled that there are "types" of speech that is not covered under the Constitution. Perhaps it is time to revisit the ruling and amend it if necessary.

Now I hope you have not gotten comfortable on your cross.... you instigated the insults hurled in your direction. Plus you have disclosed too much of your personal life and people use those "admissions" when you push them too far with your insults. You reap what you sow. Many on OPP do not care about your personal pain and suffering. Not because they are heartless, but because you treat many people quite badly. Many stopped caring about your feelings years ago. Perhaps the next time you set out to insult someone else, you could reflect on how you felt when others let you know that you or parts of your personality is unacceptable, h**eful, and hurtful. Admin is quick to suspend or ban any individual, irrespective of political bias, who break the rules. Admin does not care about feelings, if your feeling are hurt, too bad. However, if the remark that hurt your feelings fall under a rule.... the offender will be cautioned, then if it continues that individual will be suspended .... Admin will only block an individual if they are too thick headed to learn.

OPP does not judge what sites may be propaganda, that is up to the individuals who object to do their due diligence and research. Remember, you have the ability to reject any information you may believe as false or misleading.

As for Russian propaganda, you really have bought into the "fear the Russian" mentality peddled by the media. But, look carefully when the media blames Russia..... they do not accuse them of spreading propaganda. No one disputes what was said about k**lary.... they simply say that Russia attempted to interfere with our e******ns.

As for insults, I find that both sides of issues can hold their own in that department. However, I have also noted who starts the mud slinging and it is not Conservatives. But, once the food fights starts, they do get the last word. Ergo, if you start insulting.... you best have thick skin because you will get as good, or better, than what you deliver. When it starts, I normally stop following the thread. I avoid negativity whenever possible.
