Putin is going to start jerking Trump around, actually he already is is Syria and the middle east.

I'm not feeling it, or anything that makes me feel that Trump is capable of setting boundaries with Russia, he's already letting the ones we had slip badly. US control is slipping away.

He only needs to control the home front and that he’s doing. Bring our troops home from the Mideast. Put them n the border instead.

That's been happening for years and years.

We are absolutely better off and safer under Trump. He, at least, has a rapport with Putin and Kim. And make no mistake, the fall of ISIS was dependent upon help from Russia.

Actually, I feel much safer with president Trump than I have for many years.
Obama worried me, he drew lines in the sand and backed down while kissing the behinds of muslims. Bush Jr., was hell bent on war. So.... yes, I feel safer with the president Trump having a congenial relationship with Russia and North Korea. At least we do not have to worry about Kim sending missiles to our west coast.

QUICK! Before it's too late! Get your boy Obama back in here to draw another "red line." That sure showed Putin the last time.

Putin is a player. He is doing exactly what Kim Jong Un was doing to test the waters. Russia is mighty, but no where near as mighty as the USSR was. Putin is trying to maintain that old USSR image. Of course Putin wants a 'more flexible' president Like we had, not one who has the brass to stand up him.
If the only way to maintain reason between countries and the US is war, I would rather have war and keep respect, as to grovel out of fear and have the rest of the world laughing at us. If we do the latter, other countries will jump on that wagon quite quickly !!!
The only way to stop a bully is to be willing to fight it out.
I know about Trump staying out of Viet Nam and I would prefer that he had served, but NOW he is president and he is willing to present America as a tough and mighty nation who will not tolerate bullying. Trump attacked Syria and Russia mouthed off about it but nothing has been done. Syria launched a jihad but we haven't had ONE incident from that empty threat. Trump is saying threaten us all you like but you better not make a move.
So, yes, I feel safe under Trump and even more importantly, proud to be an American.

Compared to which other president? Obama did nothing but be a complete failure in the Middle East. He gave Iran $150 billion that is being used to k**l Americans at his moment.

Was going to say that, in 1974 we had 22 Bears on the tarmac getting fuel. Those scary scary Bears sometimes wonder into US air space.

Agreed. It's time America protects America and not the rest of the world. Bring our troops home and out of harm's way.

Post these troops along our southern borders and shoot /capture those that try to escape once inside our borders. Ignorance of the LAW IS NO EXCUSE so the judge says.

How do we know you're not a Russian? You don't write like an American, that's for sure. Where you from?

Oh yeah, right, let Putin run amuck, let Putin tell us to back off his allies in Syria, lift sanctions, let him take wh**ever countries by force that he wants.

He's not getting out of the middle east, the game plan is to hire Eric Prince's mercenaries by the tens of thousands at tens of billions of dollars. Mercenary contracts run a million per person, plus outfitting and military logistics and close support. One thousand people will cost a billion a year.

He isn't controlling squat here at home, he can't even control his staff, his wife and home life, or the media.

Putin is a player. He is doing exactly what Kim Jo... (show quote)

Trump put on a show, he sent 24 hour notice and Russia was able to clear the Russian ground troops supporting the chemical attacks. The only people who bought this charade are the same people that worships Trump with blind support. Trump isn't standing up to Putin, that concept is a joke.

Then you need to run for President in 2020. I'm sure you would get a couple of v**es. Maybe three.

Obama didn't "give" them $150 billion, he returned their money that had been frozen.
