But I have NEVER, not even once, NEEDED a pro athlete or Hollywood entertainer for ANYTHING.

Probably many of the same things NPP and I do for entertainment. Take walks in the woods, read a good book, visit a friend who needs our home made bread and cookies, and some company for a while, work training the dogs, can home made spagetti sauce, sit on the porch and watch the hummingbirds,actually too much to do, too little time, and TV is not a part of it. Now if I were not ambulatory, I would be somewhat limited, but then I would take up drawing again as well as spend more time with "our boys".

I agree and why so many believe their opinions should be valued, is a very sad commentary on our society. We have no King, save
The Lord, yet people insist on enthroning these public figures.

Here we're free to pursue happiness as each of is sees fit. Here one person's opinion is as good as the next guy or gal's opinion is. Hollywood and the NFL are entertainment venues. The actors and players make big money because these venues make bigger money for the owners. If I don't like the NFL I don't have to watch it. The same holds true for Hollywood. It seems to me we've been wasting time and energy on small matters when we should be focusing on who is benefiting from destroying our republic from within.

But, But,---- U do need real ones. No? My engine failed in my car and after $4500 I have a replacement. Otherwise, it's a pile of junk. I never want a real Democrat on a jury if I were on trial.
