McCain week. Is it over? We're done. What a long, drawn-out week that was completely overdone. I think they were trying to turn him into a hero, if you didn't agree with the whole "pollical" BS message. Who put this political fiasco together? That's what I want to know. https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2018/09/is_it_over_yet.html

He was the furthest thing from a conservative if that's the point you're trying to make. We wouldn't even give him RINO status, but nice try. Didn't you notice? "Trump-h**ers only" was what the big sign said at the door. You could have been in the front row with your 'c*******t manifesto" (instead of the Bible, do you own one?) Trump "says what he means, and means what he says". Most of these yahoos (and mostly Dems) were blood-sucking liberals who could only give the word "politician" a d********g bad taste in your mouth account of themselves. They couldn't resist taking shots at Trump at a funeral no-less. D********g, but predictable. The classy sort like Sarah Palin, et al, were turned away. Some of the Dem highlights of the week: Nasty shots at our C-in-chief. Political BS that would turn off any new or old proud American. Watching Bill Clinton ogle Ariana Grande at the Aretha Franklin funeral. Not a good week for classy funerals.

The thing about the republican party is that it is regressive and as each day goes by the further to the right you people become. That doesn't mean McCain wasn't a conservative but by that measure Dole, Reagan, Bartlett, Buckley, Noonen, and on and on wouldn't be conservative enough for today's republican party. You are regressive as hard as it might for you to believe even you will one day be a RINO compared to those who are running your party then.

Neither conservatives or liberals stay the same but we are both moving away from each other. And it's unfortunate because I don't think our political system was designed for complete political gridlock. Men like McCain could prevent that. Without him there is no one who can do the job...

BTW, what do you think of all those great numbers coming out. Not a person out there who could accomplish what this non-politician, Donald J. Trump has. Are you proud yet? You should be. If you ever come up with one name of a guy (or woman) who could do the job he's dong (alive of course) please let us know. You bash him constantly but can't think of one name of somebody who could be "ON FIRE" for this wonderful country. We're all ears!!!

I was not glued to the TV watching, in fact, I hoped it would all end soon. However, one of the few segments, I happened to watch, pointed out that very few over the years have had the distinction of laying in state. It's my opinion that having a bitter h**eful hot head like John McCain, to lay in State has forever tarnished the significance of that honor.

Had he, in the end, called for unity and an end to the d******eness that is gripping the country that would have been a cause for celebration, instead, his send-off was bitter and un-inclusive.

For the sake of Democrats pretending to respect a veteran's service, I hope so too.

What you don't seem to realize is that the D party has moved further to the left. The R party has also moved a bit left. The distance of the conservatives from the liberals is true, the point of reference is the only thing in question.

McCain was not BiPartisan.
He was totally AntiTrump.
The only reason he blocked A*********nCare repeal was to spite Trump.
He was also sold out to the Military/Industrial Complex and there were no wars he did not like.
