He's probably thinkin' the same thing, I would be thinkin'. Oh, how I wish I were younger.

Well, damn it, I copied and pasted the photo to an email, why didn't it work here? Perhaps many have seen the photo anyway, it is of Ariana Grande performing at Aretha's funeral service. Bill Clinton, Jessie Jackson, and Al Sharpton are seated behind her, as she is performing. All seem to be fixated on her attributes. Can't say, I wouldn't be lookin' also.

The photo I was attempting to show was posted on Facebook. There is an even better picture of Ariana featured in today's local newspaper. If I were smart enough and had a smartphone.....

If someone with more talent than I possess can find and post the photo I've described. Please do! Frustrating!

Found something just as good.

Really! Didn't see that mentioned. Can't say I blame the guy, temptation probably overtook his Christian teachings. Many on this forum are probably old enough to remember seeing the movie starring "Bert Landcaster" where he plays the lecherous preacher, Elmer Gantry. Elmer would have liked Ariana.

Yep ol Burt played his role well..There was some talk of Ariana being dressed inapropiately too.
I feel that in all fairness, I should give her a paddling.

Found it on youtube( Search: youtube Ariana Grande sings at Aretha Franklin Funeral)

What was that s**t thinking about dressing like a hooker at a funeral? "Natural Woman" is an appropriate piece of music to Eulogize someone? Even when these Elites gather to honor someone else they cannot help but make it an occasion for self-aggrandizement or to push their own agendas.

You're the second person to refer to her as a s**t, is this just an opinion, or do you know something specific? I admit, had someone asked me who Ariana is prior to this, I would not have known. I also admit being in the lecherous old guy faze of life, that, I find her to be a young- impetus on young- attractive woman. As for the song, was it one of Aretha's?

That dress was so short that I am sure she was mooning the people behind her when she performed. Totally lacking in modesty and a funeral venue is not th place to dress in such a manner, if any such place exists. Of course it is an opinion, based on observation. No idea whose song it was. It just sounded like some sex starved, female looking for a man to make her feel "natural".

Big hit for Frankin..

Ariana is no Aretha...she doesn't have the horsepower or deep soul to do that particular song justice.

I thing the song was written by Carol King but it was a hit for Aretha.

This is the reply I received when I sent the post containing the photo of Ariana to a friend. I thought he summed up the situation about as well as anyone.

Well as for the dress, it was black and it was a "formal" event so it was proper. And Bill does seem to be biting his lip so that's remarkable restraint. Now if the dead had risen . . . . . now THAT would have been noteworthy. ;>)

Note also that Sharpton does seem to be sneaking a bit of sideways peek. Just because they may be"'Lecherous " old men . . . . they proved they aren't yet dead. :>)

Funerals? I thought both Aretha's and the John McCain demonstration were continuous parts of the ongoing resist movement
