Coburn: "I don't care what the anti-constitutionalists in D.C. believe"
Former Oklahoma Senator and Convention of States Senior Advisor Tom Coburn didn't mince words on his recent appearance on Life, Liberty & Levin.
"I don't care what [the anti-constitutionalists] believe," he said. "I believe the American spirit is about liberty and freedom. If you go talk to individuals, they want their freedom."
"It's really about who gets to decide our own government," Coburn continued. "No longer do people get to decide. Unelected judges and bureaucrats decide for us.
"We have to be very clear about what our intent is. Out intent is to restore liberty."
