Why the majority American people cannot have the same Medical Care coverage that Federal, States, Cities employees have, and 535 members of U.S. Congress paid by taxpayers, it's not unfair to provide Medical Care coverage for them and not for everybody else in U.S.A.

Cut out the middlemen and we could easily afford to do what Canada has done. Big health insurance corporations extract $400 billlion in profits from the medical system.

I'm with you, so I would like to ask everyone exactly WHY legislators can name their own salaries, their own perks, their own staff, their own health insurance, their own office arrangements - yet

THEY WORK FOR US, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND?

Who started this crap? LEGISLATORS, that's who. Let's demand they give up their tax dollar insurance coverage, their perks, their unending travel, at least of each one's staff, everything the rest of us don't have. And from now on, let's pay for First Ladies travel, 1 way. If she wants to get back home, ante up the commercial fare.

The left constantly yammers about ine******y, including their "leaders". Well, LET'S start yammering about the ine******y between congress criminals and decent Americans! C'mon EVERYONE. This isn't a partisan thing. Every blasted one of them is endowed by US to live a fairyland life. I'm tired of paying for it. What about you?

Equality for me, but not for thee is the real message
Equality for me, but not for thee is the real mess...

Quit v****g the same crooks back in office. Every sheople thinks that every other politician EXCEPT theirs needs to go. They ALL need to go. If anyone expects government to be the answer, which government is it? The one we have now? I don't think so. We need to change those running the government now before we can look to the government for any answers.

And change the divided U.S. Supreme Court where the majority justices are ruling from the bench, regardless the majority people interest.

France, U.K., Germany, Canada, Taiwan, Japan, Spain, Cuba, and the Scandinavian countries all has universal medical care but in U.S.A. medical care is a business manipulated by money makers, and profiteers like a "MAFIA"

I dunno Gerard, I was a, "government employee," for over 43 years and I didn't have any taxpayer funded medical care. I had Blue Cross/Blue Shield most of the time and I paid half and the government paid half of the standard option self & family plan. Since I was enrolled for at least 5 years prior to retirement I was able to carry it over and I still had the FEHB deduction on my retirement pay stub. It was good coverage at a good price because there are thousands and thousands of us enrolled and that brings down the price to each enrollee but we still pay. I hear of unions who pay nothing for their health care, their employers pick up the entire tab. Congress and the Senate are Civil Service employees and have the same coverage that I and my family do. I do have to notice that neither Congress, the Senate or the Obama are required to comply with The Joint Travel Regulations, however. Bet those turkeys have yet to fill in a travel claim after one of their junkets.

I'm expecting to be told that the half my employer, the U.S. Navy, paid was taxpayer funded and it was. But it's nothing like the perks of a private sector union paycheck.

And through that manipulation by the middlemen profit takers, they succeeded long ago in pushing those that require the most and costliest medical care (the poor, the elderly, kidney patients because dialysis is extremely expensive) onto the backs of the taxpayer that is now mandated to purchase their middleman product. I call what they and other big corporations and the 1% oligarch that run them do corporate/government collusion. Akin to facism. Yet the sheople have been propagandized into believing government has their best interest in mind. How do I know this? Because they say they do. LIARS!!!

I don't want to go to the trouble to see if I can prove you wrong, but I KNOW that just having the same type programs does not equate from country to country. In some countries, the taxpayers pay for everyone's insurance. That has to strain the system, ergo, MORE taxes OR less care - and that is the case EVERYWHERE you can look. No country can provide excellent care for everyone unless it is falling far short on other responsibilities. Eventually the taxpayers get sick and tired of providing everything for all the loafers who refuse to work. More important and more serious than that, taxpayers get tired of being ordered to pay for others' baggage. I am one of those who thinks everyone should pay his own way - INCLUDING POLITICIANS.

Greed. The only system that has been proven to work is the one payer system.

Everyone should have medical care coverage. Cuba can do it but the U S can't.

So, if it is taxpayers paying for these elected officials (who are also taxpayers generally) why aren't you worried about those who aren't taxpayers yet have their healthcare paid for by taxpayers?
