We have to question what Trumpsy means by "fair"

Manafort was "treated unfairly." How? He should have gotten away with his crimes? It was a "witch hunt" that found irrefutable evidence of wrong-doing that a jury of his peers found him guilty of eight felonies? Manafort only missed being convicted of all 18 counts by one jury holdout: that sounds perhaps unfair, but justice was served. Consistently praising Manafort reveals what Trump thinks of as fair: not flipping on him.

Cohen was Trump's fixer for over a decade and had an office next to Trump at Trump Tower. All those years and closeness and now Trump claims he just did "small deals" and barely ever saw him. That's an unfair assessment of their relationship. No matter. Defining "fair" for Trump from the negative perspective, flipping is unfair. So we got it: utter loyalty is fair, anything perhaps even a shade less, like Sessions, is unfair.

Yeah, I keep asking what is unfair about prosecuting a guy who evaded taxes on tens of millions of dollars. I guess for a guy who has evaded taxes on hundreds of millions this might seem pretty unfair.

I particularly like his statement that Manafort didn't do anything that all the rest of the lobbyists do, yeah right, that was a pparticularly i***tic comment right there.

The obama doj didn't find anything to charge him for.The judge said the only reason that muller went after him was to get Trump.Thats's what
trump was talking about of course you would twist it up until its not even recognizable.

It is perfectly fair to go after someone you know has committed crimes to get someone else, especially when the crimes overlap what you are looking for which is ties to Russia and e******n meddling. Prosecutors have been doing this for ages, and it's perfectly fair.

This is like the right is going to say that what evidence proves Trump committed money laundering crimes its not fair because they'd have never known if they hadn't been looking into other things. It's all fair, anything Trump has done, tax fraud, money laundering, loan fraud, bankruptcy fraud, loans from Russians under sanctions, it's all good.

The FBI is turning over rocks following money trails, and the things they find are all fair game.

So what if the judge said that, that's his opinion and it doesn't matter if that is the reason, it's fair to go after a criminal.

Wasn't that statement by Trump freaking outrageously stupid and telling. Trump is saying, in effect, "My guy Manafort, who I praise, was part of the illegal Swamp-as-Usual, what's the problem?"
