Revoking Brennan's Security Clearance: The Right Thing, If Even For the Wrong Reason by Andrew McCarthy
When a Democrat says "right thing for the wrong reason" they are just trying not to say "Good job President Trump".

As with the firing of Comey, there were several good reasons.
Rather than just saying as much, he prefers to just randomly toss one out now and then.
Kind of like he's chumming for sharks?

AM makes a number of good points in the article you referred to, and I believe he subscribes to the fact that the President has the authority to revoke clearances for any or no reason. What he points out is that the reason given was retribution for Brennan's posts and diatribes, which politicizes the process. Well, so it does, and so it will. There is today little room for niceties when the other side politicizes virtually everything, and uses the MSM to shout their displeasure.
That there were other very good. solid reasons for this action, and more to come is hard to question. I believe another 9 or 10 revocations are in the works, if not more. AM makes the point that with 5.1 million citizens holding clearances, something should be done to reduce the number. I most heartedly agree.

I don't recall all this noise when ol Bill on his second day in office FIRED EVERY REPUBLICAN IN THE DOJ. We have been reaping the rewards of that fiasco for years.it just so happens that since that time graft has been running wild in Washington. Now the cry babies are crying about a dammed ol c*******t losing sc.I think Trump should just tell all of them he is running the show so go F--k your self.

As usual, Manning is thoughful and succinct.
There is no rational reason that legacy security clearances should continue.
Security clearances should benefit the country, not the person.

Super Dave, thanks. I agree with the sentiment that clearances are for the benefit of the country! They must be managed better also.

They should all be summarily terminated except those that are needed.
