Having passed the enlistment test, bb was asked by the doctor, "Why do you want to join the Navy, son?"

"My father said it'd be a good idea, Sir."

"Oh? And what does your father do?"

"He's in the Marines, Sir."

To every one serving our country, and to their families, I say,"Thank You!!" That is to those who serve us in the armed forces, law enforcement, fire department

You must'a missed the part where Salty & I were allowed to by-pass the exam due to the Navy's offer of an automatic promotion to Admiralty status. We chose instead, to join the Marines.

Well after all you did fail the Navy's entrance exam he didn't.

Both Salty & I were so overly qualified for the Navy that they offered us each an Admiralty.

Being wise men of superior character, we chose The United State Marine Corps...a far superior branch.
