Trump cut taxes into a growing economy and then placed tariffs on friend and foes alike meaning that prices are going up even if wages aren't. You can blame inflation on the Fed Pete, not Trump. But I forgot...you blame EVERYTHING including the rising and the setting of the sun on Trump.

And the tax cut gave my wife and me a roughly $3500 per year increase in take-home pay. No bad for someone who "had no clue how to run a country."

My wife makes a little over 75K a year only got about $1,300. So when you consider inflation and the loss of her teachers allowance she is bringing home less money than before Trump so graciously gave her a tax cut. So for those working for a living the tax cut was symbolic at best.

And Trump imposed tariffs on steel and aluminum plus an array of other products which can only cause inflation. Do you not pay any attention to what goes on around you? What exactly did you think tariffs would do to the cost of goods and services? Well this is just the start because Trump also cut taxes into a growing economy so that's going to increase pressure on inflation too. Now you mention the Fed, well their only recourse is going to be to raise interest rates so we are looking at a situation where we have inflation and high interests rates all because an economist wannabe is running the country and hasn't a clue what he is doing...
