Finding a solid work-life balance can be tough and a new study shows that U.S. is on the lower end of the work-life balance totem pole. The average American spends 40% of their day dedicated to their jobs. Having health insurance shields you from the full brunt of medical expenses, but it's no guarantee that your costs will be low. It’s a complex problem but all you have to do is look at how other western countries deal with this. What is not complex is the turning over of a vital part of life maintenance to a bunch of gangster corporations, aka Big Insurance and Big Pharma and this is what we get.

How right you are...profits before people. Those that rant against a government bureaucrat dictating health CARE have no problem with corporate lackeys dictating their health CARE so as to maximize profits in order for the CEOs to get their multi-MILLION in salaries, bonuses and stockholder dividends.
