Illinois family devastated after dog euthanized by mistake
On August 3, a maintenance worker entered Tony and Jennifer Wang’s backyard unannounced, startling Moses, a 6-year-old lab and shepherd mix. Normally a docile dog, the pup’s protective instincts kicked in, prompting him to bite the stranger on the leg, the couple told Fox News.
When the two took the worker to a local medical facility to be treated, they “proactively” called the Tazewell County Animal Control in Tremont themselves, Jennifer said, knowing the facility would inevitably be informed about the situation.
Moses was then taken to Tazewell County Animal Control, where the couple was told he would have to stay for 10 days.
“They called it a ‘cooling off’ period,” Jennifer said. “We were very upset; we didn’t want Moses to be gone for 10 days.”

Next they will be applying that BS to people in stupid Illinois
There is a vindictive b***h on our block that kept calling the pound on my dog when she would see him playing with my kids. But by the time they would get here the kids were inside. So she took the dogs photo. The dog has never snapped an anyone let alone bit anyone. So the pound knocked on the door, threatened my daughter with jail if she didn't turn over the dog. I think it was a week they kept the dog. After we paid a big fine the dog came home with distemper. After about $400 in vet bills the dog pulled through. Some of our other pets weren't so lucky. If they don't k**l the dog they give it some sickness that 95% of the time will k**l it anyway.
