Thanks, I actually thought kids were k**led but FBI data shows otherwise.
FBI Data shows Zero Evidence of any murders in Newtown Connecticut for the year of 2012
Ya know, I've been engaging conspiracy loons for almost 15 years, I have used every research tool available to me, that which I learned during my 6 years as a university student, I applied this to finding the most reliable and verifiable sources possible. Given that conspiracy crackpots have saturated the internet with their theories, their speculations, fabrications, accusations, and their diabolical twists and spin, the reliable intel on such events as Sandy Hook and 9/11 are not always easy to find, but it is there for those who do honest, objective research.
When I finally realized that the conspiracy nutcases were unyielding, that their ability to reason and think critically had been completely c*********d by some mysterious mental pathology, I began to look into that.
Ours is an extremely dynamic and complex world, one in which so much of what happens is extremely difficult, even impossible at times, to explain. Science has barely scratched the surface in finding explanations for so much. Even the psychological research into what makes conspiracy theorists tick is a relatively new field of study. Still psychologists have been able to pin down some key elements underlying the thought processes of conspiracy theorists.
Latching on to a conspiracy theory is a coping mechanism with which an individual can collapse the dynamic complexities of an event into a completely explainable comfort zone. Researchers found that reasons for believing in conspiracy theories can be grouped into three categories:
The desire for understanding and certainty
The desire for control and security
The desire to maintain a positive self-image
The Psychology of Conspiracy TheoriesWhy Do People Believe in Conspiracy Theories? What troubles me most about conspiracy beliefs, especially regarding events in which people lost their lives. is the lack of compassion, the complete rejection of the human element, the lack of respect for victims and families who suffered the loss and the pain.
It's been 5 years since the Sandy Hook shooting â here are the names and pictures of the 27 victims, including 20 children, who were murdered that dayThese were real people, 20 children and 7 adults murdered by a mentally disturbed 20 year old male.
