What is it a so called Christian said to me: Christians are imperfect? I still say if you try to emulate Christ then you don't have to work so hard at being a Christian.

Pastor Harry Thomas cried when he was sentenced to 18 years in prison for sexually assaulting multiple pre-teen girls.

Thomas, founder of the Creation Festival, billed as the nation’s largest Christian music festival, was sentenced to 18 years in prison Friday after sexually assaulting four minors and having “inappropriate interaction” with another.

The corrupt pastor pleaded guilty in February to raping one pre-teen girl and sexually assaulting three others between 1999 and November 2015. He also pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a fifth girl.

The 18 year sentence includes no possibility of parole, which means the 75-year-old pastor will most probably die in prison.

After being sentenced the Thomas wept in the courtroom. The crying pastor referenced a Bible verse ( Luke 17:2) and apologized for his heinous actions, saying:

I’m very sorry for the pain I’ve caused. I agree with the scriptures. It would be better for a millstone to be hung around my neck and be cast into the sea. That’s what I deserve.

But survivors and their family showed only contempt for the sexual predator. One survivor, who detailed her emotional pain and suffering as a result of being sexually assaulted by the pastor, said in a statement read on her behalf:

I h**e you.

Another angry survivor called the pastor a “scumbag,” declaring:

I will tell you this PeterS. That SOB should be put right into the middle of the main population at the most severe prison that is available!!!!!!!!!! I don't give a rats ass if he declared himself a Christian or Catholic or a Dried up old moon faced dildo. He needs to experience the pain that all of those children will suffer their entire lives!!!!!!!!! OMG, how violated they must all feel! Just because someone declares themselves to be religious doesn't mean squat.

Gosh Blade. I wasn't aware that you knew every evangelical pastor out there. And it's now a contempt for Christians as I doubt this piece of slime anymore a Christian than you are. And sorry, but as I spot CC slime I'm going to point them out for the un-Christian nature of their morbid corruption. And I'm not saying you would crawl into bed with little girls but there is just something about a CC that screams that they know nothing of being a Christian.

Back in the day I owned guns and my best shot was about 200 yards at a dead run and I tumbled him end over end. But this was a deer not a human being and I trusted god to be my protector so I would never need a semi-auto of any type at all. That's why I think there is something that doesn't click in your heads. You place yourself in Christs hands but then you don't trust him to be the protector of your family and yourself. So why did you accept Christ to be your savior if you can't trust him as your salvation? It makes no sense and I see this time and time again amongst you CC's. I certainly understand weakness but you people don't seem to make any effort to emulate the man you claim to follow.

We have Syrians who are fleeing their country because we failed them and then those fleeing the drug wars that have torn their countries apart all so they can sell drugs to our children and their friends. What happened to responsibility, if not Christian compassion and understanding? It just seems to have disappeared and all we can think of is to build a giant wall on our southern border to protect us because we lack the faith to believe that Christ will protect those who need protecting and not for those who are undeserving...

Many declare themselves to be Christians but act like the devil. Many sit in church on Sunday then go home and destroy their neighbor with vicious gossip. Many say they believe in God but they don't believe a word he says. He says not to do a thing and many Christians do the opposite then try to justify it. I used to live among so called saved people. They were worse than unsaved people I know. Religion today is man made and does not honor God at all.
