My Encounter with the Deep State At and I Am Lucky to be Alive

In my fight to save my land from corrupt international forces and American/Mexican forces, I have found I was dealing with the disciples of Karl Marx.

Indeed, I have met the Arizona mafia and opposed them and because of a recent article, I know that I am lucky to be alive. And much of what people write about today (eg child sex trafficking as part of a Deep State operation), I have met and opposed these people as they attempted to steal my land and that of 300 of my neighbors without compensation.

One of my readers (Jim) sent me this three part series on the Arizona mafia. The mafia is not tied to Sicily, the Russians or Italy. It is a socio-political organization of high profile American and Mexican politicians and many of the Americans are intimately connected to Deep State interests.

Many of the people in the cited article, I have had dealings with. The revelations from this three part series sent chills up and down my spine. Many in Arizona politics have told me that I was lucky to be alive. Little did I know how close I was to the Deep State and international, organized crime until I read this article. However, looking back, many whistle blowers who have contacted me mentioned they found me because of the stand I took against many of these people when they tried to steal my land without compensation.

My First Realization

In 2004, my wife and I bought land and had a house constructed in the rural desert northwest of Phoenix. We were in our house less than 5 months when my neighbors, spread out over approximately 2,000 acres were being denied permits to repair storm damage, add a fence or even a patio.

Eventually, we were told by Maricopa County officials that we were too close to Luke AFB. That was nonsense because the planes had to fly over 300,000 people and nearly 25 miles to reach us. Our builder had a “permission slip” from Luke AFB to build where he did. I knew that Luke AFB could not be the real reason. Then came a big break.

I was looking at a Maricopa County Association of Government document and it had placed a planned international corridor coming though my area. Additionally, there were 3 other areas in our state where this land abuse was going on where government was trying to force people to abandon their homes. The areas were S. Tucson, Gila Bend and the farmlands east of Yuma.

In all 4 cases, these communities had a planned Canamex Highway coming through their area and were in proximity to an existing interstate highway, a planned Canamex highway and somewhat near a military base. In each instance, encroachment upon the nearest military base was used as the excuse for trying to force us off of our land.

At the time, one of the subjects that I taught for a local college was statistics. Subsequently, I ran the odds of these four communities having the same variables in common with the same goal of property abandonment without compensation.

The odds were 65 million to 1 of this being due to chance.

That was my first indication that we were dealing with some very powerful people. The Canamex highway system was a result of the Central American Free Trade Agreement which was co-sponsored by Senators John McCain and Ted Kennedy. I knew in that moment of discovery, that my community was in real trouble of being raped financially. What I learned next brought in the Deep State.

My Second Indication

As I investigated what the powers that be had in store for my community, they wanted our underground water from the Hassayampa River to support the infrastructure of a multi-modal hub to be constructed in the area which would include train, plane and the infamous highway.

Our resistance, which became known as the Arizona Coalition to Protect Personal Property Rights, had three leaders and they were myself, Mike Robbins and the late Gary Byler (Silver Star recipient from his heroism in Vietnam). Gary and I were invited to a local realtors house and she showed me land owned by the Phoenix Forty. This group had been implicated in 1977 by a 60 Minutes report which covered the murder of Arizona Republic reporter Don Bolles whose car was blown up in the same time frame he was investigating high profile Arizona politicians for nefarious land deals.

While looking at a map in the realtor’s house of who owned what, along this planned Canamex Corridor, I began to shake when I realized that the earlier version of this group seemingly murdered its political opponents. This was bigger than me and I realized that I needed help. I began to speak with Ernie Hancock of Freedoms Phoenix and he gave me a column in his upstart website. In the same time frame, I began writing for News With Views.

According to this realtor, either through direct ownership, or shell corporations, the following headliners owned land in the path of the planned Canamex:

US Senator John McCain
Former Arizona Governor and Head of DHS Janet Napolitano
Former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld
President George W. Bush
Senator Ted Kennedy

It was our belief that these people and other notables had positioned themselves to buy up land in advance of the highway and realize huge profits.

I had a decision to make at that point as did our organization. We decided to oppose what was happening to us and take our chances.

Arizona’s Politicians

I was appointed to be our group’s spokesperson. In in many of my appearances, I began to talk about Canamex. Of course, the local media (eg Arizona Republic newspaper) called me an insane conspiracy theorist and that it was our fault for moving “next door” to Luke AFB without permission all of which were lies.

I made so much noise, that I was invited to a series of meetings at the State Legislature. McCain had two of his people in of the meetings in which I was told that “the Senator does not like what you are doing… and I should be more cautious…” I confronted them for threatening me and said I would follow McCain on every stop of his p**********l campaign to tell the nation what it is like to have a senator who tries to steal private land. I made good on my promise.

We had many good people who were Arizona legislators that once believed the Luke AFB fiction only to come to our side after I met with them. Unfortunately, most of their careers were ended prematurely. And in the case of State Senator Marilyn Jarrett, she died mysteriously at her desk 2 days after one our frequent meetings as she was helping us preserve our rights. State Senator Jack Harper went from being an opponent to an ally. He was a rising star, but helping our group and opposing v***r f***d in Phoenix was his political undoing, but he would not play ball with the corrupt forces in Arizona.

Opposing These People Could Cost You Your Life

During this time of volatility, I was the victim of two violent acts during the subsequent months. Annie Di Riso and I were interviewing our friend and colleague, the late Jim Marrs from a family home in Glendale, Arizona, when an estimated 8 shots were fired over the house. The police took 30 minutes to respond to a “shots fired call”. They insisted that they responded within 3 minutes of getting notified. I later learned that DHS can override the 911 system which is why I believe the Glendale police were slow to respond.

Several months later after eviscerating some of Arizona’s politicians who opposed us, I was driving to my rural home after coaching a college basketball game when a car tried to run me off of the road. A ten minute chase ensued as I was on the phone to 911 for Maricopa County. Eventually, I got to a fire station where I knew many of the firefighters, who were impacted by the attempted land theft, and the chase was broken off.

It took over 2 hours for Maricopa County Sheriffs Department to respond to me. I was confronted and told it was probably my fault for antagonizing the other car, which was not true. I tried to get a copy of the 911 call over 10 minutes in length, and was told it was “lost”.

In that same time frame, I accepted an offer from the late Pete Peterson to start my own radio show in Wickenburg, AZ and we took the fight to another level. Eventually, and with the help of Ernie Hancock and many Arizona State Legislators we stopped, the attempted land grab, at least for the time being.

This is what launched my media career. But this is not the end of the story. In Part 2, I am going to detail how the article in Digital News is right on the money. These people are not just stealing private land and using their office to profit from their political dealings, drug dealing, child sex trafficking are part of this equation as well.

As a note of disclaimer, I think John McCain is a bad man, a very bad man. However, I have been unable to link him to the organized crime, directly. However, he was clearly complicit in the illegal attempted theft of my land. However, Part Two will name some very prominent people as we link them to infamous scandals and tie my experiences into the article on Digital News.

During my 8 year fight to save my land, I knew I was dealing with unsavory politicians, but not to the level that I will be reporting on. I fully appreciate why Jeffery Peterson, after being in business with many of these characters, had to go into hiding in a foreign country.

When I stared down the dangers of what I was doing, I was reminded of what Ernie Hancock told me: If You Are Going to Be on the List, You Better Be on Top of the List.
