Browder appears to be a “cats-paw” in the new cold war with Russia, this time amazingly led by Democrats. The first salvo was when the Democratic Party tried to explain Clinton’s p**********l loss as the result of Russian hacking of the e******n system. There is a stunning reversal of the Red-baiting era of the 1950’s which was led by Republicans. President Putin has not asked for the US to "give up" Browder, only to allow him to be questioned under the oversight of our law enforcement (one of the alphabet agencies, FBI, CIA, HHS...). In the USA. We have this type of agreement with most other nations, I do not think it is an unreasonable request. The interrogation can be preformed in a box, with camera... they do not need to be in the same room if you are concerned for his well being.

This man has an ugly history and was the mastermind behind the Magnitsky Act which effectively eliminated both large and small business in Russia. While he spirited away 1.5 billion dollars. I understand President Putin's anger with him and his need to find out how he robbed Russia.

If we want to get a handle on the e******n i**********e, we need the cooperation of other nations. Of course, progressives will fight any cooperation because in a vacuum any claim can be made and proved. Let me make this more simplistic. Say you have a child and that child comes home one day and says a neighbor punched him. You have two choices, 1. You can just take your child's side and become h**eful toward your neighbor or 2. You can go to your neighbor and ask to talk to their child with them present to find out what happened before you take sides. What Mueller wants is the "dirty 12" or how many Russians he wants to interrogate to be extradited to the US. And Mueller knows this will not happen as thing stood before the summit, so he could say wh**ever he wanted and his proof would be that he learned of this from someone else who heard it from someone else that overheard it happened in Rio. President Putin's proposal, and that is all it was an off the cuff idea, was to allow Mueller and his team to go to Russia where the "dirty 12" could be questioned in their own country with their own lawyers. In return, if Browder could be located (mind you he has spent that 1.5 billion buying property in the UK and Spain and probably other countries) that he be questioned in the US with his lawyers present. No one is arrested, just questioning. And you are objecting? Why?

This term "giving him up" is hysterical propaganda. Neither Trump nor Putin expressed or established any extradition treaty. There is an existing agreement which allows American investigators to witness interrogation of Russians on their own property and gives Russians the reciprocal right to witness interrogation of Americans on their own property. All that can be given up is information. Putin would like to know how Browder pulled a billion and a half American dollars out of his country illegally and I would also like to know that since it seems the Queen of Graft, Hillary, got almost a third of it (400 Million) for her own pocket (Clinton Foundation).

If you want to be pissed about this, complain about Bill Clinton and Dubya Bush, they set this treaty up.

I don't believe it will happen. Extraditing each other is just a game I am sure. I will never allow Russia to get my people. I think Putin thinks the same.

I prefer they could work peace agreement instead, and forget the violent past. We need to save this beautiful earth that God created for us.

There is no talk about extradition..... only questioning, the accused "dirty 12" in Russia and Bowner in the USA. The ex-ambassador can not be questioned on his activities by Russia, he had diplomatic immunity.

I understand why the FBI is afraid. It is easier and more assured to hold a kangaroo court, where the only evidence is what Mueller wants to be heard or seen. The trial for the other Russians is ongoing and stalled because Mueller will not allow the defense to even see the evidence against them.... Mueller did not think they would come to the US to stand trial or hire American lawyers. He thought he could get a guilty verdict because he filed suite against them. Without the questioning of the "dirty 12" the only thing we will ever know is what the FBI thinks we need to know. If they went to Russia, the blow by blow would be in every newspaper in Europe and all Americans would have a balanced view of events. The way it stands, this "investigation" will go on forever with it disappearing gradually from view.... this will give the FBI a way to save their deeply tarnished reputation. But, all of this now is a mute point....the FBI refused the offer.
