PETA refuses to condemn Hamas for using live animals as flaming weapons of war
by BareNakedIslam
While People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has no problem comparing meat-eaters to N**is in their “Holocaust in your plate” campaign, it refuses to condemn Muslims in Gaza for setting animals on fire and using them as weapons of war. Hamas will stop at nothing in its effort to destroy Israel, even at the cost of abusing defenseless animals.
UnitedWithIsrael Hamas displayed cruel animal abuse when it harnessed incendiary materials to a falcon and sent it toward Israel, marking a new development in the terror group’s arson terrorism against Israel’s south.

Gilad Gabai, an Israel Nature and Parks Authority (INPA) ranger, discovered the bird on Monday near Nahal Habesor with the flammable materials tied to its tail. The bird was dead, after apparently igniting a fire nearby.
Gabai told IDF Radio on Tuesday that “animals are already being burned as a result of the fire kite and balloon terrorism. Now we see that they [Hamas] have moved on to using animals as a weapon. This is very distressing.” “Apparently it’s not enough to destroy nature with kites, now falcons are being used for terror as well,” the IDF’s Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories said.

INPA is considering the possibility of filing a complaint – under the appropriate international treaties – over the use of an animal for terrorism.
Hamas’ burning kites and balloons launched over the border fence have ignited over 1,000 fires in the area adjacent to the Strip in the past three months, laying waste to more than 8,200 acres of forest and agricultural land, with damage totaling tens of millions of dollars.

The Gaza-based arson terrorists ignited 24 fires in Israel’s south on Monday, and in response, an Israeli Air Force (IAF) aircraft struck two Hamas posts in the northern Gaza Strip. These posts were located near areas where arson balloons are launched, starting fires in Israel, the IDF stated.
This was the latest development in the current wave of Hamas terror that began on March 30. A new tactic has been the launching of incendiary kites and balloons towards Israeli territory. To date, they have ignited over 1,000 fires, destroying 82,000 acres of forest and agricultural land.
The torched areas include nature reserves. Many animals have been burned to death. Others have lost their natural habitat.

This is not the first time Hamas has attempted to use exploding animals as weapons against Israel.
IDF This cruel incident is just the most recent attempt by Gaza terror organizations to make such an abominable use of animals as explosives couriers. The IDF first encountered an animal-borne terrorist attack when a Palestinian terrorist rode an explosives-laden donkey cart toward an IDF position west of Khan Yunis and detonated the explosives. The terrorist and the donkey were k**led, but the soldiers were left unscathed. Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack.

During the Second Intifada, Hamas and other terrorist organizations stepped up their exploitation of animals for the purposes of terror. In 2001, a terrorist rode a bomb-laden donkey cart toward an IDF position in the southern Gaza Strip and set detonated the charge. In 2003, a Palestinian terrorist strapped a bomb to a donkey and then exploded it remotely on the road between Jerusalem and Gush Etzion.

In June 2009, Palestinian terrorists approached the Karni crossing, located between Gaza and Israel, with several horses carrying mines and explosives. In May 2010, terrorists in Gaza detonated a donkey cart loaded with explosives near the border fence.
Most of these attacks involved donkeys and horses carrying carts loaded with explosives. However, IDF soldiers in the field reported multiple incidents where Hamas terrorists had strapped explosive belts to dogs.
PETA never condemns animal abuse in any Muslim country:

Amen and Amen I am surprised that Israel has not gone in and attacked Palestine and run them out of the Gaza strip.

This is shocking. Only demonic people could use these tactics against God's critters.
Hopefully PETA will speak out as any decent animal rights group should.

They are not really an animal rights group, they pretend to be one while trying to destroy the true relationship between people and their pets. They are an antihuman ideology, and a threat to both people and animals. Like other anitihuman ideologies it ultimately deteriorates into a nihilistic bitterness that is anti-life. A Rat is a Pig is a Dog is a Boy the human Cost of the Animal Rights Movement by Wesley Smith and Animal S**m the Beastly Abuse of Human Rights by Kathleen Marquardt explain the movement very well. I think that you can find either as used books at ABeBooks. If you are really interested in the subject and cannot find either one PM me as I have an extra copy of both.

Because my wife SWMBO and I have been involved in training service dogs, and she, as the daughter of a veterinarian has spent her life working for the welfare of animals and their connection to people, we are concerned with keeping the record straight. There are a large number of well meaning people who do not understand that PETA is not concerned about the welfare of animals, just concerned with power. If they were concerned with animal welfare they would not turn hundreds of mink loose from mink farms in the middle of winter so that the animals could starve to death in northern Wisconsin. Nor would they demand that animals not be used to develop v*****es for both humans and animals. You will notice that PETA never protests the way Muslims torture the livestock that they slaughter for food, if you have seen any videos of their slaughter rituals you would see cruelty at its worst. The Animal Rights groups demand that we humans not train dogs as seeing eye dogs, service dogs for the disabled or dogs as comfort for Veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. They also condemn us and others who use dogs to help abused children as they learn how to work pass their childhood abuse. Most of "our boys" find the dogs of great comfort and many become animal trainers as adults because of the dogs they have worked with in therapy. Because of our work we are both advocates of humane care of animals because of our responsibility to them, not because of "rights" of animals.
