I can't see how you arrive at that interpretation of those words. However, see it as you like. I would suggest that if it's this cut and dried the only global solution is to amend the 1st amendment to specifically exclude any and all Islamic faiths and further, by law, bar Muslims regardless where born from holding elected or appointed office.

By definition, and I think Ms. Ali supports this, a Muslim is not only an adherent to Islam; they MUST be ... there is no middle ground or latitude (she would like to change this). Under strict interpretation one is either a Muslim or one is not. The significant factor is that a Muslim cannot accept our laws; Sharia is the only law. Ergo my suggestion that IF we as a country adopt the strategy of exclusion it has to be all-encompassing. There can be no more quarter given than allowed by Islam to itself. Can't be half-pregnant.

More interesting to me though is how would we do this? How would the necessary laws come into being considering the massive constitutional changes that would be necessary? What's your thinking.

CDM, the law is actually already written. The US CODE 414 that we’ve written about covers the situation completely. islam is completely against America & our Constitution. What more do we need ? We can start with keith ellison and drop him over iran ( parachute not available).

I have to admit total ignorance. I think you guys see something that has gone over my head. I am at a loss to understand not so much how but who with power and authority would invoke these laws globally to the level of exclusion being discussed here?
