No. It is a ruling by a few lawyers who overstepped their authority. It should be up to the states.

Oh yes it was part of a longer post. The only thing I care about same sex marriage is when some religious fanatic uses his freedom of religion clause of the first amendment to trample over others civil rights And the SCOTUS has ruled that same sex couples have a civil right to marriage

You said it was the law of the land, and then denied saying it at all.

I guess I did say that but it was not a law passed by congress but a ruling by the SCOTUS regarding the constitution

"You mean two party monopoly?"

Big Money/the PTB set it up this way. They worked on that for decades, wiping out all other parties from contending; That way they only had to control "two" parties.
Trump broke that up, by using social Media and bypassing the owned media.

Ranger, Thank you for your contribution to fiction. The t***h is that Trump is trying to have a love fest with an enemy of the United States. The press is just reporting it. I don't know why Trump is trying to cozy up to an enemy of democracy in general and the US in particular, but I can guess.
Either Trump is being blackmailed by Putin, he is trying to use his office to do business in Russia, He admires dictatorships, and/or he is just an i***t or t*****r or both. For a person that claims to be the master of the deal, he has failed miserably at each attempt. North Korea got legitimacy and an end to defensive military excercises with South Korea and we have gotten nothing in return. His summit meeting with Putin has gotten the US nothing. It may have some terrible agreements made with Putin in secret. His meetings with allies in Europe has caused confusion and chaos among our allies. I also notice that Mexico has not agreed to pay for that i***tic wall and Canada is pissed off at us for violating trade agreements. Trump has declared economic war on China, Europe China and Canada all at the same time. The Donald is incompetent, immoral, unethical and there is an excellent chance that he has broken more than one law.

Have they not heard the words of President Putin? Trump and Putin held a summit, the press and various congressmen attacked Trump saying, "He was not tough enough"

HA! People who only heard half of the summit would come to that conclusion. Putin is not as strong as the media is making him out to be. Trump is realizing that now.

Russia, Russia, oooo, Russia is trying to conquer us. I don't think so. Russia needs us! HA! We do not need them. HA! Putin makes it really clear, because, I am listening to the CNN broadcast of the press conference, and it sounds like Putin is begging for help. But those who worked during the Cold War have not forgiven Russia.

Who remembers Khrushchev banging his shoe on the United Nations floor? Who remembers the building of the Berlin wall? Who remembers the Cuban Missile Crisis? Do you remember the tensions during the 80s? Who remembers the peace that Reagan, Gorbachev and St. Pope John Paul? Do you remember the destruction of the Berlin Wall when the Soviet Union became no more? Do you remember the scorpion's song, "WInd of Change?"

By the end of 80's, Russia and the United States became friends. But for the past 30 years, i***ts attempted to bring the Cold War back. These rich i***ts made a profit on the USA-Russian feud. Putin is seeking a partnership with the United States, yet the Media and the Democrat, who not too long ago was for peace, is attempting to bring back the Cold War and wants to blame Trump. Trump is seeking peace, yet his enemies continue to fight Trump on every front.

Did you hear the Press Conference between Trump and Putin? Putin outright denied the collusion. If Putin was guilty as the press alludes, then Putin would have lied. And all Americans would have pinpointed and noticed the lie. However, Putin made is denial as a matter of fact. Because of the FBI and the Press, now Russia is investigating. Now, out of the Mueller investigation, Russia is getting involved.

What a mess the never-Trumpers, the Democrats, the Media have made. These groups do not represent the people of America, Donald Trump does. Evil people hacked the DNC, posing as Russians. They were not working for Russia, they were working for themselves.

You should watch the press conference and watch Trump and Putin. I believe that if you judge the conference free of press, media, democrat, republican, influence and use your powers of observation, to answer the question what happened, you will see the t***h.

You i***ts who seek to undermine Trump, listen to Putin's warning that I agree with whole heartedly. Why is this question being decided by Democrats and not the Courts? If you believe in Democracy, then you must trust the courts.

People, Russia is not our enemy!
Russia assisted us in conquering Hitler and winning WWII

Russia became our enemy during the Cold War dating back to Eisenhower.
Democrats shouted, "Escalate! Escalate! Escalate!"
The Korean War, The Vietnam war, The conflicts in Cambodia and Laos... all done by Democrats.
Peace came with Reagan! Peace with Russia occurred in 1989!

Putin backed up Trump, the press railroaded both men as if they are not speaking.
The Media, in this persons opinion should be shut down for slander of both world leaders
In the words of Putin, "The only way a democratic republic can answer these questions is in court"

But no, the Democrats don't want it to go to court. I think Trump should call them out.

Let the games begin!
How foolish do you think the media is? br br Have... (show quote)

Salty, I am sure that you really don't know enough to teach high school kids about some of these things. I have to wonder just how much you do know about it all. In 1952 my favorite teacher of these things, in college, told us that the day would come when the Soviet Union (it was still that back then) and the United States would one day have to fight most of the rest of the world. I guess he would be classified r****t by the left of today. He told us that one day the rest of the world, brown, black and yellow would be ready to take us on. I still believe that the Russians will have to go with us against them.

You do know what the Chinese are trying to do these days, I hope. I also believe that too much of Europe will be in it all with China and Africa. We have done too much for the Europeans for them to back out but then the Muslims weren't in control of any of Europe in 1952 when I heard this. I spent two years in Europe (Germany and Italy) in 1956 and 1957 "spying" on the Iron Curtain countries. We were told that what we were doing was illegal but that they were doing the same thing to our troops. Yep, in that space of time we were real enemies of the Soviet Union and we need to try to appear as such now but although I do remember those days I also know what the Chinese are doing now about weapons and building islands. Who are the baddest guys now, the Russians or the Chinese? The chinks have lots more military people than we do and are fast catching up in weaponry.

I don't like the Russians but I know that we have to remain somewhat friendly. You leaners do have a lot of trouble with all this especially the Russians. I don't intend to leave them out by themselves when the day comes.

Oh well, Trump will have to deal with the Chinese and that won't be fun if Trump and Putin are enemies.

No, the fiction is in the collusion of Trump with Russia. That is the fiction. I have written non fiction.
Salty, Trump was made president for one purpose and one purpose only, to break the monopoly that has plagued all of the American citizens.

Remember when Obama declared, "You will be able to keep your doctor." or "The prices for Healthcare will be affordable."
Remember when Obama sent billions to Iran?

No. I don't blame anyone for not liking Trump. I get that. But the drunk hysteria of Trump is blinding the Democratic Party. Principles that built this country are blown out of the water and the Democrats are acting like a lynch mob.

The democrats and the liberals don't make any sense. If someone stole my wallet, and I got the wallet back, would I not want the authorities to investigate who took my wallet? Let's take it a step further, I would ask the authorities to perform forensics on the wallet. I would not go to a private investigator, I would go to law enforcement. This makes sense, right?

Now let's apply the same principle to the DNC's servers. They didn't go to law enforcement but a third party. And well the DNC will believe the third party over the FBI. Then the third party can blame anyone and no one would question them, until congress questioned Comey. This is not fiction.

So the accusation of apparent fiction does not hold water, sorry Salty.

Because many liberals and democrats, are so drunk in the hysteria of the actions of Trump, they are not stable. They have lost their minds. My advice to all of them is this, stop, take a deep breath. Look at the situation for what it is and look at it in a sober mind. Not one wrapped up in the tonic that Trump is evil or what ever. Then true justice may be found.

The Democrats are on a very slippery slope because they are using emotion as evidence. Emotion is never evidence. Prove the crime. It has not been done yet. I hope they learn how to represent their point soon.

Nothing even resembling the love fest Obama had with an even more dangerous and implacable enemy. It is obvious that Putin is far more amenable to solutions for stability in this fuked up world, but no one will ever tame the Islamic Regime of Iran, they will always pursue their goal of destroying Israel and eventually the United States.

Then Blade maybe we should attack Iran before they attack us and Israel?

I have been thinking about that, but I don't know if it is the right thing to do. Although I believe in peace, Iran is willing to risk everyone's life, for their ideology. The tables must be turned but I don't see any peaceful solution to Iran. Iran will not compromise. I wonder if Trump could talk Putin into invading Iran........Hmmmm......
