Once again a Democrat opens Pandora's box in an attempt to pander to the populace in garnering v**es. Kennedy and his ilk never considered what was good for the country, only what was good for them. The unintended consequences of the executive order put the tail in charge of the dog and with the enormous number of people employed by the government it will be virtually impossible to rectify this situation in a democratic manner. Only a dictator could correct the excesses and imbalance.

All of the gold standard pensions need to be terminated for all government and public sector employees without exception. They can seek their own pension plans, funded with their money just as the rest of us do.

There is no difference in a dictator taking away my little nest egg and a non-dictator government printing money to pay these bloated pensions, which takes away my little nest egg.

Yes theres alot of differenceyou still got your nest egg for now.if our goverment would have put the money back the pension money would be there,just like the post office they didnt put the funds back now their paying for it.I agree with you printing money is no good,but if you do away with those pensions then whos pocket will it go in then?
