NoNoNo. You think you stand in the light...that is all. And choose to pose as enlightened, while casting shade upon those who would question the stance.

It's time for Donald Trump to Helsinki or swim, and once again we hear pundits wonder what exactly Vladimir Putin has on Trump that causes the President to endlessly supplicate himself before the Russian leader. The answer it is pretty obvious.

0, nada, nothing! there is and never was any evidence of collusion.
Summits with World Leaders is not collusion, it is necessary deplomacy.
If Putin did put something damning to Trump in a mailbox, it would be f**e news.

The only advantage he has over Trump is that they both want peace and Trump may be willing to make consessions to achive it.

Oh, I'm watching him, Pete. I don't approve of everything Trump does, but that is mostly limited to the trade thing, the tariffs and such. I think tariffs on China is a good thing, it is definitely a national security issue. The tariffs on other nations, particularly allies, are not good.

You see, Trump is a man of action, not words, and I for one know that action speaks louder than words. President Trump may not be a master of the English language, but when he sets his sights on getting something done, he is a CAN DO kind of guy. Things he has done that your sycophant media has purposely failed to report are quite astounding.

I just got wind of the CBO report on defense spending and Trump's and his SecDef's management of that in targeting our critical defense needs is very promising. Such as immediate work to rebuild our Navy's combat capability to over 300 ships. And that's just the beginning. There is no doubt that president Trump is well aware that Putin, along with China, Kim "the rocket man" Un, and Iran are the major threats to world peace.

I think of an anecdote from 1865. Right after the Civil war ended, a wealthy NY dowager opposed president Lincoln's effort to bring the rebel states back into the Union. She told him that the rebs should be punished, that an enemy of America must be destroyed. Lincoln replied, "Madam, do I not destroy our enemy by making him our friend"? This, I am sure, is what Trump is attempting to do. Unlike all of his predecessors, he is getting them to the table in a effort to clear up the muddy waters, find common ground, find solutions that will benefit everyone, the old WIN WIN deals that makes things work. And, to show those reluctant to deal that he means business, he imposes sanctions on them. In the case of NK, along with sanctions, the US Navy is maintaining a powerful force on station within striking distance. This seems to be working, given the report by SecState Pompeo on NK cooperation in following through with a number of demands.

And, president Trump has, thus far in his term, appointed more appellate court judges to the district courts than the last two presidents combined, and just about all of these judges are constitutionalists.

Your belief that Trump is Putin's lap dog is a deranged, media driven opinion that has nothing to do with the reality. It has to do with the blind, unfettered hatred for a man who defeated your rotten queen and is, under incredible and unprecedented opposition from all quarters, doing his level best to Make America Great Again.
Oh, I'm watching him, Pete. I don't approve of eve... (show quote)

Tariffs on China is costing our farmer billions of dollars and a loss of market share--market share they likely never will be able to start up again. As for Trump he can't shut up so how do you figure he's a man of action first? That makes no sense. And his can do is more in his imagination than anyplace else. Take his TUFF position on Russia--all of that was done behind a screen so no one knows what was said or actually accomplished. That's the way he likes to work so that you don't know what he's accomplished and he can just sit there and blow smoke out his ass making it sound like he's a master of accomplishing nothing.

The same with NATO. He blows hot air out his ass but all are democracies so it up to the people to determine whether or not spending on the military is increased or not--if the people don't want it than it won't happen no matter how much Trump jumps up and down sounding like a tough guy. And no, it's not blind unfettered hatred that is driving my rhetoric but a very rational observation of what he is doing to this country.

1) You conservatives willingly refused to have anything to do with Obama but Trump purposely divided this country where he assumed the position that he was only president of conservative America. I know of no president in the past with that type of d******eness in them and no one can be president of this country and only be president of a portion of the population.

2) His love affair with Putin is unprecedented and without explanation. I can't explain it and I know you can't either so that begs the question of why he is so obscenely such a snuggle bunny with Vladimir Putin? What's going on there--no American President in the past has been such a close Allie of someone who was so keenly an enemy of our country!

3) As for making this country great again that can't be accomplished by endangering our country with such a close embrace of an enemy of our country as he did with Vladimir Putin. And both Trumps version and your version of greatness is by pushing his nation backwards as only true regressive's can do. You may think that's great but as with his first action as president by allowing Coal companies to dump their waste into our waterways was hardly a way to achieve greatness for our country.

4) In 2016 this country v**ed said Trump SHOULD be president of this country. What they actually meant was SHOULDN'T. That's called a double negative...understand???

fo~rty mi~les away, so i can't do youtube or photo's or pictures, just print and single port radio programs.

If I sift through the guano you post, I do find an idea here and there I agree with (e.g. I would prefer that coal mines didn't dump waste into rivers either and some of the tariffs may not get the response he's looking for). Hey, President Trump doesn't walk on water, and he's not a polished teleprompter reader like President Obama was. But with you it's just like mining. I've gotta go through a ton of ore just to find a few nuggets. And you can say it's not "blind unfettered hatred" but your words belie that. How about make your point and skip the aspersions.

The thing is that if we dropped the politics, I think a lot of us here would find out that we've got much in common. And I kinda wish we could at least spend some of our time having discussions about normal stuff so we could find more of that commonality. But I'm pretty new here - maybe confrontation is what this site is for.
