Nothing has changed and they own you from cradle to Grave unless we act to change it.

Trump is your last chance
This is the final lap before we fight

You will not get your freedoms or country back by the path you’re on today, Know This !

Sici, I usually agree with you on many issues but what I disagree with is your attitude on what we can and cannot control. My attitude is I will fix that which I can and ignore that which I can't. I do know that all things on this planet are temporary and will evaporate in time. The only thing I have control over is myself while I'm here. I try to do the right thing when offered choices. When there are no choices I just bend with the wind knowing it is temporary. I'm happier this way.

One senses the wisdom contained in your comment, sisboombaa. However, having that attitude is safe, for the time being, here in America. Beings, for the most part, depending, of course, on one being safe and well fed. Still, a bit of despair and frustration creeps in when realizing how little we as individuals can contribute to the cause. Yet, to throw up our hands in defeat seems a major copout. Woe-is-us!

Two year decline, lung problems, congestive heart failure, two heart attacks, one this year and four hospitalizations since January. Botched Angiogram which caused the heart attack, Massive leg injury from a freak slip in the driveway in January, which had me in a hyperbaric chamber every day for four months, two bouts of severe allergic reactions to antibiotics, one requiring hospitalization. Currently on nebulyzers and gasping for air after walking four or five feet. It's a wonderful life, can't wait to see what's next.

Thanks for your reserved compliment but I do not believe your comment of "throwing up our hands in defeat" as factual. If you have read most of my posts, hopefully, you will realize I am fighting to change the mind set of those who will open their minds. It's all I can do from my position.

Gee pafret, you're certainly one tough cookie, that's for certain! Didn't know you were going through all that. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Glad I had the chance to meet you and learn some things from you. I was blessed, thank you! If your a Christian you know what comes next. If not, even I don't want to think about that. As well read as you are, you already know the answer. Hope you have many more good days ahead and very little pain and may all your nurses be cute, sweet, and slip you pain meds when you need them.

Ok but here’s a choice all of you should be taking now and very seriously... activate yoursleves into m*****as...
and I don’t mean State M*****as

I mean Civilian Miltias, Minutemen like they do in Texas and Arizona...

Make this happen
Become a sovereign person of the land
Throttle your local officials
Get in their face no matter what party you belong to
Your gov’t is hijacked by criminal Federalists and their Fraud Fed Courts and Municipalities, Corporations and Slush funds...

It’s all a big PHAT PH**KING LIE !

I'm looking forward to it, most of my family and friends are already there. I'm not in any hurry to shuffle off, still have a lot to accomplish and someone has to talk sense to my offspring. I hope to stay out of hospitals, no matter how cute and sweet the nurses are hospitals are designed to drive you nuts with their incessant round the clock taking of "vitals" pushing pills, inhalation therapy, interviews with physical therapists, social workers meddling into my home environment, to decide if I should be incarcerated somewhere at their disposal and a host of other official do-gooders who do everything other than let you get 30 consecutive minutes of sleep. Couple that with strict injunctions to not sit up or roll over without having a nurse in attendance and definitely don't get out of bed to use the bathroom. If they sit you up in a chair don't stand up or move without calling a nurse.

Hospitals are so concerned about being sued they almost cocoon you for the duration. Fortunately I have a high tolerance for pain and I need very little in the way of pain meds.

I hope to go to 120 and pass in my sleep. Doubt that will happen though. Hope I'm as tough and brave as you are when my time draws near. Visiting people in nursing homes and hospice breaks my heart but it's good for my soul. Some have no family or friends or anyone but staff to talk to. I'd sure h**e to go out that way. Glad you have your family around you. Good luck with the offspring, you never know what might stick even if they don't seem to listen now. I'm looking forward to that family reunion too and definitely a new and improved body, ha. You and I feel the same about hospitals.

I'm not particularly tough or brave, mostly resigned to accepting the hand I've been dealt. I wish it were different and this isn't what I envisaged as my retirement but I've got to play this hand because I am not gonna fold.

Good for you! Bravery and toughness come in all kinds of packages. You have chosen the right attitude and that is something a lot of people can't or won't do. We've probably seen a lot of deaths in our lifetimes. Just hope we have both lived, loved, forgiven, did our jobs, and die well before we graduate to the next phase, eternity with our creator and reunited with loved ones who went ahead of us. Without faith and love, I would have ended it all, several times. Don't know how some people can carry on without it. Don't change, and may we both finish our race well. God bless you, my friend!
